I usually don’t like edibles because they make me stressed and make my heart beat out of my chest, but I figured I’d try this 1:1 CBD/THC ratio. The 1:1 ratio added a nice baseline of calm into the mix that eliminated the heart pounding and the stress altogether. No matter what Kiva Confections product I try, they are a cut above the competition. This 1:1 ratio edible is even better. These taste incredible and left me with a strong, but calm high (primarily head high, but also a nice body high) I’ll definitely be buying this again as it has made me reconsider edibles.

Felt unbalanced and strange

The only way I can describe this experience is that it felt very sterile and clinical. Something about the 1:1 CBD-to-THC ratio made me feel oddly edgy. It was like I could feel both cannabinoids working in my brain at the same time. It started with a slight euphoria and mild relaxation, but that soon shifted into an overstimulated, uneasy feeling. The CBD seemed to cancel out some of THC’s mind-altering effects, leaving me feeling extremely clearheaded and alert. When I came down I felt anxious, wired, and had trouble sleeping. Overall, it wasn’t a pleasant experience and not something I’d want to try again.
