TAX GUIDE

Taxes are not included in pricing.

We understand that taxes are a tough subject since it is so high (not in a good way) in the cannabis industry. Some retailers include all the taxes into the list price, some retailers only include some taxes in the list price, some retailers discount some taxes randomly, and some completely separate the taxes all together. At the end of the day, every single licensed retailer must pay these taxes one way or another. We made the decision to separate all taxes so it is clear where your money is going.

State Cannabis Excise Tax - 15%

Local Cannabis Tax - 6%

Local Sales Tax - 10.50%

Due to California Policy of Cumulative Taxes - TOTAL Tax will be 34.65%

If you have a Medical Marijuana Identification Card (MMIC), you will NOT be charged the Local Sales Tax & you will have a reduced Local Cannabis Tax of 5%. Your new Total Tax will be 21%

Since we are based out of Culver City where Local Cannabis Tax is 6%, you are saving 4% on the Local Cannabis Tax. Most other counties have a tax rate of up to 10%.
