Widow Pop is an indica pre-roll pack from Soar, built on a cross of the iconic White Widow and the fruit forward Gastro Pop. The pairing puts a classic backbone under a modern flavour cultivar, which is a more interesting combination than either parent alone. The nose is dank and gas heavy with sour undertones running through it. A dash of black pepper comes through from the caryophyllene side, and sweet tangerine with fresh lemongrass lifts the back end. The tapered joints and glass filter tip keep the draw open and the flavour clean to the end. The indica side lands with weight, a settled body calm that suits an evening at home more than an afternoon out. Three joints in the pack makes it easy to split without committing the whole thing. Soar comes out of Pure Sunfarms in British Columbia and runs as a value tier line built on real cultivars rather than blended flower.
