• Helped battered women in shelters, offering support and opportunities to rebuild their lives.

Despite personal challenges, including being wrongfully detained under New York's stop-and-frisk policies in the early 2000s, Ty remained steadfast in advocating for justice. He worked with organizations like CAMBA, participated in city council meetings, and championed cannabis legalization in New York. Ty's vision for Brooklyn Bourne Dispensary is to create a safe, welcoming, and empowering environment for cannabis users.

Kim Green

Growing up in Bedford-Stuyvesant (Bed-Stuy), Kim discovered her passion for helping others at an early age. By 13, she was volunteering at food banks and organizing grants for community programs. At just 14, she negotiated a deal with Odwalla and wrote a grant proposal to secure food for local pantries. Over the years, she:
