Black Widow has always been a personal favorite of Trichome Farms'. Now we know we're not alone. At the first competition we've entered, we took three significant awards home for this strain:
Award #1: Best Greenhouse Flower (1st Place); decided by a panel of judges including dispensary owners and award winning cannabis growers.
Award #2: People's Choice Award ( 2nd Place); decided by GanjaCon ticket-holders in an online vote following the event. All cannabis flower categories were included in this vote, including indoor, greenhouse and outdoor.
Award #3: People's Choice Award 2016; Oregon Grower's Cup
Our Black Widow is a Super Sativa and has has a strong, cerebral euphoric high. It's good for focus and creativity.

About this strain: Black Widow
Black Widow is an Indica-leaning hybrid of Brazilian and south Indian landraces that was originally cultivated by breeder Scott Blakey -- aka Shantibaba -- under the name White Widow.
When Blakey and breeder Howard Marks -- aka Mr. Nice -- left Green House Seed Company in the late 1990s, they changed the name to Black Widow to distinguish their plant from White Widow strains sold by other seed banks.
