Og | 7g G.O.A.T Smalls | Hybrid | Summer Edition
TOPSHELF INDOOR
OG, also commonly known as "OG Kush" to most members of the cannabis community, is a sativa dominant hybrid strain with unknown genetics, although it is commonly thought to be a cross of LA Kush X SFV OG. This dank bud boasts an insanely high THC level that ranges from 30-34% on average. OG has a memorable aroma of earthy woody pine with a hint of sour spice and a taste of pungent woody pine with a hint of spicy earth upon exhale. These buds have small to medium-sized dense dark forest green spade-shaped nugs with neon green undertones and a spattering of furry fiery orange hairs. These nugs are dusted with a fine layer of chunky white crystal trichomes and sweet sticky resin. Users describe the OG high as having a slowly creeping head buzz that's uplifting and felt primarily in the eyes and forehead, leaving your eyes dry, red, and droopy. This is accompanied by a mellow body high that spreads in warming numbing waves from your head throughout the rest of your body, leaving you completely-pain free and with surprising waves of cerebral energy. Due to these effects, OG is ideal for treating chronic pain and stress as well as mild to moderate cases of depression.

SFV OG - or San Fernando Valley OG - began as a phenotype of OG Kush. A grower named Swerve at Cali Connection Farms in Southern California’s San Fernando Valley bred it with an Afghani from Homegrown Fantaseeds. The resulting strain takes its initials from its parent strain, as well as the abbreviated location of its seed bank.
Breeders created the strain after selecting OG Kush for its earthy, lemony smell and sedating properties, which are the result of high levels of myrcene, limonene and caryophyllene.
The strain took 3rd place in the Indica category at the High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam in 2012, and 1st place at the Denver Cannabis Cup that same year.
