San Fernando Valley OG
An LA phenotype of OG Kush, SFV OG originated in the San Fernando Valley where it was bred to have a slightly heavier sativa kick than is typically characteristic of OGs. Successful in doing just that, the breeders of this strain developed a uniquely spicy and euphoric rendition of OG Kush that remains on the top shelf of dispensaries nationwide.
All our flowers are grown in our state-of-the-art grow facility in a small town located 25 minutes south of Olympia. We pride ourselves on having 90% local employment with 35% veterans. Our flowers are always raised and harvested with the utmost love, care, and attention to detail.

Process

Nothing in their grow is automated, their flowers receive care from human hands from trimming to watering. Their unique and exotic strain selection is mainly sourced from their secret stash and deliver potent and resinous yields. SFV OG - or San Fernando Valley OG - began as a phenotype of OG Kush. A grower named Swerve at Cali Connection Farms in Southern California’s San Fernando Valley bred it with an Afghani from Homegrown Fantaseeds. The resulting strain takes its initials from its parent strain, as well as the abbreviated location of its seed bank.
Breeders created the strain after selecting OG Kush for its earthy, lemony smell and sedating properties, which are the result of high levels of myrcene, limonene and caryophyllene.
The strain took 3rd place in the Indica category at the High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam in 2012, and 1st place at the Denver Cannabis Cup that same year.
