Brought to you by Compound Genetics and NorCal Genetics in 2022, Glitter Bomb is an indica-dominant hybrid named after its abundance of sparkly crystal trichomes, giving the bud a glittery appearance. The cannabis strain is a cross between Grape Gas #10 and OG Kush Breath Blueberry Headband (OGKB Blueberry Headband), both of which bestowed their fruity, berry aromas onto Glitter Bomb. The combination of the two parent strains gives Glitter Bomb its potency, earning the nickname El Chivo #5, which is Spanish for "The Goat."

In addition to its shimmery surface, Glitter Bomb is made up of oversized deep purple and bright green nugs, reddish-orange pistils, and minimal dark purple leaves. It usually hits moderate levels of THC, with little to no perceptible levels of other cannabinoids. Aromatic notes are heavily spicy, herbal, and earthy, with lighter notes of lemon. Its effects are described as heady, creative, and uplifting, with little of the stereotypical indica sleepiness. This is more of a creeper than a heavy-hitting indica.
