While Jack is usually short for the famous strain Jack Herer, there are a couple of strain lineages that bear only the first name of Jack. These are separate and should not be confused with the flower named after the aforementioned author of The Emperor Wears No Clothes.
The first Jack lineage you may come across is a direct descendant of Jack Herer from CH9 Seeds. This variety is a hybrid, crossed between Jack Herer and a hybrid plant with unknown origins.
