Montana Silvertip is a strain that comes to us from The Treasure State. Although less known today, it remains a legendary American strain developed as a cross of Granddaddy Purple and Super Silver Star. With these genetics, this strain comes in hot with a super-hazy aromatic appeal. But it also has rich notes of pine, earth, and a mossy forest floor. It usually tests high in pinene, myrcene, and caryophyllene on the terpene front. Genetically, it's mostly a sativa, although it produces relaxing effects, like a happy euphoric buzz and giggly nature. We may never uncover the original Montanan breeder, but you can now find this mountain-born DNA in many newer hybrids, including grand Daddy Silvertip.
