Born in the summer of 2015 in the heart of San Diego, Smoke Savage was founded by true cannabis enthusiasts with a simple mission: to create high-quality, affordable cannabis products for people who genuinely value the plant. Self-funded and sustained through passion and hard work, we proudly use the very same products we bring to market, standing behind every strain, every batch, and every creation.

At Smoke Savage, we believe that cannabis should be both accessible and beneficial. That’s why we work tirelessly to offer clean, chemical-free products at prices people can actually afford — because everyone deserves access to safe, effective cannabis. Our commitment to quality extends beyond just potency: we formulate our products with the medicinal power of cannabis in mind, striving to enhance health, wellness, and overall well-being, not just deliver a high.

Today, you’ll find Smoke Savage in select retailers across California — but our roots, our passion, and our dedication to the plant remain the same as they were on day one. We invite you to experience the difference. Smoke Savage. Live Free.

Gelato is a cross between Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies, named in homage to its sweet aroma. Also known as Larry Bird, Gelato (#33) was first cultivated in Northern California's Bay Area and is derived from a deep bank of genetics created by the Cookie Family, the Sherbinskis family, and cultivator Mario Guzman.

The cultivators parted ways following its creation, and the cultivator who possesses the most “stable version” of Gelato genetics is up for debate. Cookies cultivates a few phenotypes and descendants of the strain named Gelato #42, Dolce Gelato, and a sun-grown Gelato. Sherbinskis grows four stabilized Gelato phenotypes in its rotation as well: Gelato #41 (Bacio Gelato), Gelato #43 (Gello Gelato), Gelato #47 (Mochi Gelato), and Gelato #49 (Acai Berry Gelato). Per Sherbinskis, the #33 phenotype is no longer in cultivation.
