Nura | Grandaddy Purp | Big Buds
Granddaddy Purp is a classic indica-dominant strain celebrated for its bold grape-and-berry flavor with a deep, earthy kush finish. Dominant terpenes like myrcene, beta-caryophyllene, and pinene drive its soothing body melt and mellow, euphoric head change that’s perfect for slowing the day down. Expect heavy relaxation, stress relief, and a cozy, appetite-friendly calm that makes evenings feel easy. Its lineage is Purple Urkle x Big Bud, giving it that iconic purple color, sweet fruit funk, and old-school potency.

Our specialty is small batch, indoor cultivation in grow rooms that are moderately sized allowing us to tailor nutrient, lighting, and environmental conditions to suit each strains specific needs. The result provides us with flowers that are dense in structure, rich in terpene profiles and boast potent cannabinoid percentages – The Triple Threat.
Granddaddy Purple, also known as Grandaddy Purp or GDP, is a hybrid that was first propagated in Northern California in 2003 by breeder Ken Estes. A cross between Purple Urkle and Big Bud, GDP was then backcrossed into itself.
Granddaddy Purple has an average THC content of roughly 17 percent, and is typically high in Caryophyllene, alpha-Pinene, and Humulene. Like most indicas, this strain has been reported to help you relax and sleep, making it perfect for day or nighttime.
A genetic winner, GDP’s buds won first place in 2015 at the Denver High Times Cannabis Cup for Best U.S. Indica.
