N.U.G started as a spark in Northern California and took root in Michigan soil—grounded in legacy, guided by quality. Built by growers with deep ties to the culture, our flower is grown for those who expect more: more terps, more flavor, more depth. This brand isn’t a trend—it’s a statement, a nod to where we came from and where we’re going. From the underground up, we built this for the real ones.

NUG—short for Northern Underground Growers—was born about a decade ago in the middle of an LA traffic jam, sparked by some Humboldt-grown Legend OG and a running joke that turned into a revelation: "Nug is nug, dude… but not this nug." That moment lit the fuse on what would become a brand built for the ones who think like us—the ones who know their terps, who’ve seen the culture evolve, and who want flower that actually lives up to the hype.

Originally imagined in Northern California, the name found its true home in Michigan—where legacy growers, cultivators, and perfectionists grind daily to bring top-tier, cold-cured, hand-trimmed flower to market. At N.U.G, we’re not trying to be everything to everyone. We’re here for the educated smoker—the ones chasing exotic genetics, complex terpene profiles, and the kind of quality that leaves people wondering, “How the hell did they create craft cannabis at scale?”

Lemon Tree
hybrid

A cross between Lemon Skunk and Sour Diesel, Lemon Tree is an indica-leaning hybrid that has been popularized by a number of West Coast growers, including Creekside, which won second place for best hybrid at the 2014 High Times Cannabis Cup in Seattle for its Lemon Tree strain. Known to have an aroma of citrus with diesel, Lemon Tree bears a sweet and sour scent and tropical taste of that make it such an enticing option for many stoners.

This strain is reported to grow dense, light-green buds covered with sticky trichomes and amber-colored stigmas. Said to grow medium-to-tall in stature, Lemon Tree has a flowering time of about eight weeks, producing relatively high yields. According to the seed bank Medicine Man Seeds, which sells feminized Lemon Tree seeds, this strain can produce THC levels between 17% and 25%. It reportedly leaves users with a feeling of relaxation and euphoria, oftentimes described as producing a clear-headed high.

According to lab test results from Cannalysis, one sample of Lemon Tree grown by THC Design had 21.91% total THC, along with a terpene profile that primarily consisted of myrcene, limonene, and alpha-pinene.
