Profile: Floral, Pine, and Earthy

Afghani, one of the oldest and most renowned cannabis strains, hails from the rugged and mountainous regions of Afghanistan. This pure indica strain is named after its geographic origin, which is part of the broader Hindu Kush mountain range. For centuries, indigenous communities in Afghanistan have cultivated Afghani cannabis for its potent resin production, a practice that dates back to ancient times. Afghani made its way to the Western world during the 1960s and 1970s, a period when explorers and cannabis enthusiasts brought seeds back from their travels along the Hippie Trail, a popular route through the Middle East and Asia. Afghani is known for its high resin production and rich, earthy aroma. It is widely celebrated for its deeply relaxing effects.
