Sun Grown, Moon Made™️ Moon Made Farms is Sun + Earth Certified, Sungrown in Southern Humboldt. In respect for those who walked here before us and for those who will be next in line. Moon Made Farms is guided by lunar farming and regenerative farming technologies -- not innovations but ancient practices revisited. We embrace ancient technologies like adhering to a moon schedule for germinating seeds, seed propagation, planting, transplanting, sewing the seeds, watering, and timing of the harvest. While we use what the land provides to build garden beds and living soil, we integrate these techniques with more modern farming practices like automatic drip irrigation, laboratory testing, microscope use, sensor controls, a weather station. We've built "ancient" gardens to honor this historic process, the concept being that this garden could have been built 1000 years ago or 1000 years in the future.
