Euphoric

πŸ’œ Grand Daddy Purple (GDP) is a classic indica-dominant strain πŸŒ™, created by crossing Big Bud 🌿 with Purple Urkle πŸ‡.

This blend gives it a complex berry and grape aroma πŸ“πŸ‡, while its oversized, dense nugs πŸ’Ž showcase deep purple hues πŸ’œ, orange hairs 🧑, and resin-coated sparkle ❄️. The taste πŸ‡ is unmistakableβ€”lingering on the tongue and leaving a sweet, fruity finish πŸ˜‹.

Effects πŸ›‹οΈ hit both body and mind: expect overwhelming physical relaxation πŸ’†β€β™‚οΈ, dreamy cerebral euphoria 🧠, and a tendency to stay planted in one spot πŸ›‹οΈ while your thoughts drift.

Medical users β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή often choose GDP for appetite loss 🍽️, pain πŸ€•, insomnia πŸ’€, muscle spasms πŸ’ͺ, and stress 😌. A true indica powerhouse 🌌.

Granddaddy Purple
indica

Granddaddy Purple, also known as Grandaddy Purp or GDP, is a hybrid that was first propagated in Northern California in 2003 by breeder Ken Estes. A cross between Purple Urkle and Big Bud, GDP was then backcrossed into itself.

Granddaddy Purple has an average THC content of roughly 17 percent, and is typically high in Caryophyllene, alpha-Pinene, and Humulene. Like most indicas, this strain has been reported to help you relax and sleep, making it perfect for day or nighttime.

A genetic winner, GDP’s buds won first place in 2015 at the Denver High Times Cannabis Cup for Best U.S. Indica.
