Keep it Local

Locals Only Concentrates provide the highest caliber of marijuana extracts with purity that would marvel any cannabis connoisseur. It’s a challenge to pin down just one way that makes Locals Only Concentrates stand out among the rest. In one word: standards. Locals Only Concentrates provide a standard of excellence in marijuana extractions unseen in California. From cultivation, extraction, and packaging, to educating dispensaries, clubs, and collectives about their high-end product. Every part of the Locals Only Concentrates experience was strategically tailored to provide sensational flavor and effects in every dab or drag. After trying their premium marijuana concentrates, you'll want to keep it local.

History

Born from the methods passed down in the Colorado marijuana community, the owner has thought of everything and utilized his first-hand experiences to make the perfect extracts brand. Started from the bottom, now he’s here; the owner began in the cannabis industry as a budtender in Colorado and eventually moved into management. From there he went into commercial growing, noting the practices and methods of his mentors. Over time his love and knowledge of Mary Jane grew, and he eventually confronted himself with the question, “Why continue to push other people’s product?” Inspired to create something of his own, he launched Locals Only Concentrates on January of 2016, lending his expertise in the multiple facets of cannabis.

Process

Locals Only Concentrates sources their marijuana from in-house California indoor and outdoor farms. Their cultivators tailor the grow conditions to the strain and use preferred phenotype to determine if the crop belongs outside or in their indoor facility.

The proof is in purity, and Locals Only Concentrates is a connoisseur quality brand with a line of extracts that exude perfection. Making the perfect extract requires a lot of vetting and Locals Only Concentrates are more than happy to put in the work and extra steps it takes to bring the absolute best to market. Their vape cartridges have a zero failure rate and purchase their cartridges directly from the manufacturer. Every cartridge is tested in-house prior to packaging to find those improperly manufactured. Patients never have to go through the annoyance of a pen that won't hit.

This due diligence is seen in their other products, too. Locals Only Concentrates have taken marijuana to new levels with their proprietary steam-to-distilled terpene infusion. Taking the terpenes of foods like strawberries to craft their flavors of extracts. Locals Only Concentrates are not carbon scrubbers, their clear look is achieved through purity, not from adding carbon to the distillation process which causes the product to lose potency and percentage. In addition to safeguarding their potency their syringe packaging protects the extract, slowing the oxidation process and keeping their concentrates as close to crystal clear as possible.

Products

Locals Only Concentrates always has something for their patients and customers to look forward to. With thirty different variants of extraction flavors that rotate throughout the year. Keep a keen eye out for their newest flavors, as they may not be on shelves for long. A favorite amongst the cannabis community being Dirty Sprite, bursting with notes of grape and lime and offering a bit of “Mystery” flavored Airheads’ taste.

Lab Testing

Patients and customers can rely on Locals Only Concentrates for consistent extractions and marijuana products. They are proud to offer double lab tested cannabis products, testing the crude oil prior to distillation, then the final product again for quality assurance. In addition to testing through SC Labs, Locals Only Concentrates also tests through Anresco Laboratories, an FDA accredited and recognized facility. Locals Only Concentrates are devoted to preparation and exceed compliance requirements in California. Regardless of what California legislators decide their cannabusiness will be unaffected, patients and customers will still receive top-quality concentrates.

OG Kush
hybrid
THC: 20-26%

OG Kush is a world-famous strain first propagated by Matt Berger in Florida. The strain was later popularized after Josh Del Rosso, aka JoshD, was able to perfect the growing conditions and introduce the variety into the Los Angeles market. JoshD Farms reports OG Kush users can expect long-lasting, heavy, yet versatile euphoria and skunky-citrus flavor and aroma. The company is now focused exclusively on developing OG Kush-derived strains and products.

JoshD Farms reports an average THC content of 20% from OG Kush, with some indoor grows testing as high as 26%. Myrcene, limonene, and caryophyllene are the dominant terpenes of the strain. According to JoshD Farms, phenotypes and offspring that honor OG Kush’s signature effect and flavor profile include Kosher Kush, Triangle Kush, Skywalker OG, and Loompa’s Headband.

Berger said he obtained the originating strain, a ’90s favorite of Snoop Dogg and B-Real of Cypress Hill, in Florida where it was shared exclusively among local growers under the name Kryptonite, or Krippy. Berger, who was the first to cultivate Kush seeds from a random bag of flower, later shared the strain with Del Rosso in Los Angeles. Berger was also reportedly the first to coin the name Kush after a friend called the strain’s especially frosty colas “Kushberries,” with no intentional reference to the Hindu Kush mountains where other Kush strains originate.

OG Kush also came in 1st place for the Weedmaps March Madness competition in 2020.
