Many think the name comes from the color which is reminiscent of the colors found in an iconic california coastal sunset, however its name and heritage comes from the Sunset district of San Francisco where the breeders and growers who developed this variety reside. Despite it’s full body potency, it provides a sustained cerebral boost. For example, many report it elevates their aural senses letting them soak more deeply into sound and music. Like the glow of the sun before dusk, Sunset melts stress, tension, and a grumpy mood away.
