The Texture - Rosin Jam is composed of a saucy base filled with dazzling chunks of sugar-like crystals. These crystalline grains are nucleated THC molecules that “crashed out” and separated from the terpenes and lipids within the fresh rosin. The visual appeal, texture, and formation of pure THC crystals within Rosin Jam are the qualities that draw people to this technique of curing fresh rosin and the remarkable flavor profile it provides.
The Process - Our live rosin is extracted through a completely solventless process in which we use ice water and agitation to separate the trichomes into hash, and then apply low heat and gentle pressure to make the live rosin. We then apply gentle heat over a long period of time to allow crystallization of the THC-A in the rosin to form. This creates a jelly-like jam with chunks of THC-A throughout.
We chose the name Illicit to highlight the hypocrisy in the legal system towards cannabis, and the thousands of people still in prison for cannabis-related offenses that should be freed immediately.
