Sometimes you gotta give the people what they want, and that is Diesel Scream. Originally released in concentrate jars after the Illinois Pheno Hunt of 2023, we had scrapped the plants by the time the flowers made it through manufacturing. But the returns on the hash were bountiful, and some say it hits like an ice cream truck, so we re-hunted from the same seed batch and culled a pheno worthy of the market.

A pungent cross that brings dynamic characteristics from both parent strains of Ice Cream Cake x Sour Diesel. The flavor profile is dominated by a creamy, cakey goodness, complemented by a touch of fuel and Sour on the finish. The plant is fun to grow and produces heavy, dense flowers that make a buttery hash. The look of the flower is full of sparkle, the taste is sweet fuel, and the effects will make you soft serve.

Once the plants have reached optimal ripeness we harvest them and the preparation for hash making begins. Each plant is meticulously broken down removing any non cannabinoid containing material like water leaves or stems. The material is then placed in freezer seal bags where all air is removed to prevent oxidation and it is frozen to -10 c to prepare it for extraction.

Rosin Procedure

At IC Collective we take every extra step to preserve and protect the cannabis through the rosin making process. This starts with a custom-made room that’s basically a giant refrigerator where all of the washing and handling of the hash takes place. This ensure the trichomes are never exposed to heat of any kind during the extraction process. The hash is then dried in scientific freeze dryers to preserve the strain specific flavors in the material. Once the hash has had all water removed it is then pressed under tight filter

bags at low temperatures to remove impurities and concentrate cannabinoids and aromatic compounds. The final step is a room temperature cure and whip before its packaged by our team and sent across the state.
