Frozen Gelato | Big Buds

Thanks to the enormous variety of different strains marketed under the name, Frozen Gelato is probably familiar-sounding to most experienced smokers. You can find a huge range of ancestries for each variety, including Brain Damage X Gelato, Sunset Sherbet X Thin Mint, and Gelato X Platinum Cookies. Despite that, one of the more popular and better-documented Frozen Gelato strains was created at In-House Genetics by crossing Platinum and Gelato 45.

Though most strains are hard to describe with consistency, the Brain Damage and Gelato cross is reportedly a relatively balanced hybrid that tastes of whipped cream and sweet berries. The In-House Genetics variety is often described as having similar flavors, like fresh berries and ice cream, but an even stronger aroma of sugar and fresh fruit.
