Through a Dutch Passion friend in Belgium, the Dutch Passion breeders team got their hands on one of the fruitiest strains they’ve encountered in a long time. This superb clone came from a beautiful Sweet Pink Grapefruit mother and when sampling the end product of this fruity genetic, our test team were blown away by the smell and taste of this strain. You can both smell and taste where this variety got it’s name from.
The yields of this variety were good, but after our breeders team crossed this individual with an original Orange Bud® clone, yields were increased to the next level and the fruity smell and amazing sweet taste were preserved. The result is something to be proud of and she was announced as “Passion Fruit®” If you are looking for some smokable fruit, then Passion Fruit® is the strain for you!

Many of our varieties have won numerous prizes and are regarded as some of the best varieties ever created. Many of the new seedbanks base their own varieties on Dutch Passion original genetics.
Our legendary varieties are still as popular now as they were in the 1980’s and 1990’s, many of them are available in regular seeds as well as feminized. If we find a top quality new variety we will introduce this into our collection, sometimes at the expense of a less popular existing variety. A powerful cross between Sweet Pink Grapefruit and Orange Bud, Passion Fruit packs a punch. It was created by Dutch Passion Seed Bank in Belgium when they acquired a clone of original Sweet Pink Grapefruit from a trusted friend in Belgium. The origin of Sweet Pink Grapefruit is said to be Canadian, however, it’s still unknown.
Passion Fruit is a well-balanced hybrid is notably for its high THC content, about 20%, sweet but pungent aroma, and stable genetics. Its CBD clocks in at about 10%. Effects include freshing creative energy, uplifting attitude, and overall relaxation.
Passion Fruit has won awards in South America, including 1st Prize Outdoor at Copa Del Sol in Peru in 2018.
