Gelato #33 Preroll
Our Gelato #33 is true to breed standards, with dark green nugs covered in bright orange hairs and shimmering with trichomes. This flower is our farm's favorite this year, with an unsurpassed high that is very well balanced, euphoric, with no signs of paranoia. The nose starts out sweet, reminiscent of orange creamsicles, and finishes strong with hints of gasoline. Nugs are large and dense, really showing off now nice of a strain this Gelato #33 is.
Terpenes tested at 2.46% with trans-Caryophyllene, alpha-Humulene, and Limonene being the three highest in concentration.

We are a small, organically minded cannabis farm nestled just outside of Portland, sitting on top of some of the best soil in the area. Exclusively owned and operated by a husband and wife team, these two farmers bring nearly twenty years of combined marijuana growing experience to their OLCC licensed outdoor production facility. With many of those years dedicated to indoor grows, both in soil and hydroponic systems, an experiment a few years ago persuaded the couple to start growing outdoors in their rich Jory soil; the results were nothing short of stellar.
The story behind the name. We were driving back to Portland from Waldport. Shortly before reaching the town of Alsea, Rachel said, "Hey, look, dragon smoke!" Ryan donned a confused look. Rachel went on to explain... the little puffs of fog floating in the crevices of the surrounding hills is "dragon smoke." Caves containing dragons are nestled in those hills and the smoke from their breath is emanating from their lairs. And here we are - dreaming of the lustrous dragons living in the coast range of Oregon.
Gelato is a cross between Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies, named in homage to its sweet aroma. Also known as Larry Bird, Gelato (#33) was first cultivated in Northern California's Bay Area and is derived from a deep bank of genetics created by the Cookie Family, the Sherbinskis family, and cultivator Mario Guzman.
The cultivators parted ways following its creation, and the cultivator who possesses the most “stable version” of Gelato genetics is up for debate. Cookies cultivates a few phenotypes and descendants of the strain named Gelato #42, Dolce Gelato, and a sun-grown Gelato. Sherbinskis grows four stabilized Gelato phenotypes in its rotation as well: Gelato #41 (Bacio Gelato), Gelato #43 (Gello Gelato), Gelato #47 (Mochi Gelato), and Gelato #49 (Acai Berry Gelato). Per Sherbinskis, the #33 phenotype is no longer in cultivation.
