Astro GMO | Big Buds | 3.5g

For anyone looking for a light, fruity profile in your next strain, look the other way. Astro GMO proudly brings layers of funk to your stash with zero apologies. Almost before the seal of the jar is even cracked, the pungent odors of classic skunk cannabis and a chem-driven herbal cheese attack your nose - making the uninitiated pull away and the experienced lean farther in. Layer upon layer of aroma continues to evolve the longer that you leave it open, turning into fresh tobacco and a sting on your nose like a peppery horseradish that has an almost citric quality to it to keep you going back. Each bud is a dense structure almost built to hold the trichomes closely and preserve all of the nuance as it was meant to be. Breaking them apart, while very difficult to do emotionally, allows the purple hues and deeper greens to be seen even better and starts to expose more aroma notes that smoothly translate over to the flavor. The first inhale of Astro GMO sets the tone with a mix of floral funk that takes you to the middle of a rain-soaked field of Lilies as they’re all in bloom. Bites of cracked pepper and earthy flavors of tar and natural green tea join the party and hang around on the back of your palate for quite a while and remind you why funky strains are still so highly coveted for their profiles. With an indica designation, all reported effects support this, with physical and mental relaxation taking the top spots.
