The Black Widow feminized contains 20% THC and medium CBD-levels; she is 70% Sativa and 30% Indica. The indoor yield should be about 400-500 grams per square meter, and its height should reach about 90-160 cm. Outdoor the Black Widow should produce about 200-250 grams per plant, and its height should be about 150-220 cm. Its flowering period should take 8-9 weeks. Black Widow is an Indica-leaning hybrid of Brazilian and south Indian landraces that was originally cultivated by breeder Scott Blakey -- aka Shantibaba -- under the name White Widow.
When Blakey and breeder Howard Marks -- aka Mr. Nice -- left Green House Seed Company in the late 1990s, they changed the name to Black Widow to distinguish their plant from White Widow strains sold by other seed banks.
