With high THC content, visually appealing flowers, and complex terpene profile, the Cherry Slushie strain is a favorite of veteran users. Thanks to its mixed heritage, Cherry Slushy flowers are considered especially beautiful. The palm-shaped, bright green nugs are covered in spindly red hairs and speckled with broad purple leaves, hidden under a fuzzy coating of pastel yellow crystal trichomes. Breaking open the buds of this strain will release its pungent terpenes, smelling of lime and citrus, revealing the indica lineage. The flavor is more tobacco and spicy diesel when smoked, thanks to its AK-47 parent. Users say this strain offers a great mix of calming indica effects and uplifting sativa effects, but caution should be exercised, as the strain has a very high THC content, and may not be the best entry point for new users.
