I've had mixed feelings about County Line. Sometimes the medicine was good, sometimes it wasn't. A lot of times it was very, very dry and more than once I was disappointed with what I had gotten. Sometimes the staff didn't seem to know what they were talking about. When they went to delivery, I was kinda sad because County Line was the closest to me. When they reopened, I stopped by to see if anything had changed. It sure has.
I went to their new location on 4/20 and picked up some Louie, some Animal Cookies, and a White Rhino oil syringe. Both the Louie and Animal Cookies were phenomenal - strong, tasty, and perfectly dried and cured. The White Rhino oil was fantastic too. I've been here twice since they reopened and I have to say, they have really improved everything. The shop is located in a much better location than it was before. I am definitely glad County Line reopened here and made a great effort to make their patients feel welcome. Keep up the good work!
I’ve been looking all over Kern county for a place that knows how to do hash right. It’s been a bit of a struggle because either the hash is overpriced (and maybe good, but I won’t pay more than the general market price for a gram of hash) or it’s complete crap (as my girlfriend says, it speaks to the quality of the bud that makes it. The hash won’t be any good if the bud is poorly grown hydro crap). I came across L.E.A.F on one of our trips to Bakersfield. Jackpot. Granted, the location was a little off the beaten path and not a place I’d want to break down at night. There were people hanging out front (although one was an employee, we found out later) - which combined with the kinda skuzzy area was a little nerve-wracking. The atmosphere inside was completely different and very warm and inviting, although small (the guy who helped us seemed to make the room seem even smaller. But it’s good to see a big guy like that at a collective). The girl behind the counter was SO sweet and knew what she was talking about. One of my girlfriend’s pet peeves is people who can’t spell ‘Jack Herer’ right (like Jack Herrer or even worse, Jack Herrera.). Not this place - apparently they knew Jack Herer and admired him greatly. We arrived there around happy hour, and did we ever get the hook up.
After much debate, we got a gram of Jack OG and a gram of Lemon Haze hash. We had a hard time deciding on the Jack OG and one of the house strains, Blurex (or is it Blue Rex). In the end, she threw in a gram of the Blurex for us to try because we were so interested in it (it wasn’t as zingy as we thought it would be from the delicious smell, but still a fantastic strain). This is definitely the place to go if you want to get quality hash at reasonable prices. We also picked up a Bubba Kush clone on one of our last visits. We're a little wary of clones after another shop's clones infested our grow room with mites, but theirs looked healthy and clean (plus we didn't have any plants going at the time, so there wasn't much risk). She was a great little clone that has grown into a very bushy, stinky plant. We are very happy with it. Thank you, LEAF. We will be back.

AMG is our go-to place for our monthly meds. My girlfriend and I are both on disability and have a limited budget. Most places we go to will have a couple of poorly grown strains at the bottom of the list and that’s all we can afford. Not at AMG. The first time we came here, we told the guy what our limit was and he pulled out several strains for us to choose from. While I can’t remember exactly what we got (because we come here nearly every month), what I do remember is that we were blown away by the quality. All the medicine is organic, soil grown (which we love. Hydro is for people wanting to make a lot of money. It looks pretty but can’t compare to the strength and lasting effects of organic soil grown marijuana). We realized later that the selections we made were not on the bottom shelf but the top. Every time we go back, it’s the same thing: we tell him our budget and he gives us a selection of strains to choose from. Sure, we have gotten a few that aren’t the best, especially when we‘ve had a lot less to spend, but that speaks more to the way it was grown and possibly the cross (there are some strains we‘ve found are a little muddled because someone took a heavy indica and a zingy sativa and the effects on both sides were toned down). Yes, some of the bottom shelf strains aren’t very good, but I can point to plenty of collectives that have way worse bottom shelf crap (like the places that the ONLY lower priced strains are nothing more than leafy Stress shake or spray some unknown bud with flavor spray and give it a name of a strain regardless of what it really is). My point is, any place you go, it’s hit and miss. It comes down to the care and conditions the plants were given when grown and I do believe that for the most part, the medicine at AMG is among the best grown we’ve had.
AMG is by far the most compassionate collective we have ever been to. Matt is truly in this for the patients. He is knowledgeable and we spend waaaay more time than we should in AMG because we sit and discuss strains and effects. I suspect the people who are complaining about the prices either have never been here (before we came here, I was thinking the same thing) or they came in with the wrong attitude.

We came to Bakersfield Medicinal Care because they were the only shop that had wax (goo, oil...it's many names for the same product). I have to say our first impression wasn't the greatest. The reality is that had we seen this place first, we probably wouldn't have gone - but like I said, they had what we wanted. Despite the appearances, this was really a fantastic spot. Even though they were having technical difficulties, check in was still quick because the guy helping us (whose name we have forgotten.) knew what to do when technology doesn't want to work. We went into the bud room and were greeted by the budtender, who was not only eager to help us, but was also very friendly. We lucked out and managed to get a gram of Bubba Kush goo (which was very, very nicely done - not a hint of chemicals, only delicious goo taste). We also ended up getting a small amount of Bubba hash (also fantastic medicine) for $5. My girlfriend and I love that we were able to get a small amount of hash to try rather than the standard 1/2 and 1 grams everywhere else. He even threw in a joint (on top of the two free grams we received for being first time patients). We also got some great advice on how to deal with mites from the guy in the back. Over all, this was a great experience. The staff was wonderful, the medicine was fantastic (goodbye insomnia), and they actually know how to spell Jack Herer. Whenever we're in Bakersfield, we will definitely be back. Thank you so much guys!
We want to be pretty...."but it is what it is" and we like it and thank you for giving us a shot based on us and not "just our looks" LOL. We have always tried to be the best as far as customer service and we also want to be the shop with some of the best prices in town...we like or are real fond of the quality of our medicine's and now your a fan also...so cool. I will pass along the review to staff and give them a surprize thanks to you.
Please next visit in town stop by and say hi.
This is the second time we've paid a visit to AMG. The first time was a couple of months ago and even though we forgot to do a review, the experience was so wonderful we couldn't wait to come back.
When we walked in, we noticed there was a LOT of glassware in the waiting room that wasn't there the last time we came in. The prices we saw were fantastic and next time we stop in, we're going to make sure we walk out with a nice piece. Once we went into the bud room, we were greeted by the guy who helped us last time (we are both so bad with names, we apologize.) and a new guy. Last time we came in, we gave him a price range we were looking in and he showed us a couple of strains and even brought out another strain from the back. We settled on some NY Diesel x Lemon Pie (which is a FANTASTIC sativa - it really helps motivate to get packing) and some Hogs Breath (also very nice, especially for the price). I also picked up a little bit of the 007 on recommendation and I have to say, thank you. Very good medicine.
This is a collective that is truly in the business for the patients - and not just the patients with a fat bank account. We have yet to be disappointed with anything we've picked up from AMG and this trip was no different. We will definitely be back next time we're in Bakersfield. Thank you so much guys!
A few months back, we had an issue with KCKC and let them know here on Weedmaps. Jason replied and offered to right the wrongs. My girlfriend and I don't get to Bakersfield too often and so at the first opportunity we stopped in. My girlfriend went in (I had another errand to run), so this is what she said of the experience.
"I called ahead to let them know I was coming down and Jason told me he'd take care of me when I got there. We had never had any issue with the warmth of the staff (or the quality of the medicine), so I was greeted with the same friendliness as our previous visits (and I'm sure some of it was the nature of the visit :). Jason was absolutely professional in our interaction and the resolution was beyond what had been wrong. We are both so happy with how this was handled that we will DEFINITELY be back whenever we're in Bakersfield. Thank you so much for making it right (and caring enough to reach out instead of telling us, in a manner of speaking, to shove it).
As I was walking out, I spotted some kief on the counter and had to ask. $5 grams of Blue Dream kief! That was a fantastic deal and I had to pick some up. The Best in the West (or is it Best of the West) is phenomenal and completely the strength and quality we love about KCKC's medicine. Thanks again guys and see ya all soon.
Im sooo sorry this happened to you guys and the KCKC fam wants to apologize for this..Im sorry about the mites if you want to come in and speak to myself (Jason) and we will take care if you of those clones and for the bad experience over the phone.. KCKC is all about compassion and treat all our patients like family.. Much love from J and the KCKC fam..

We stopped by KCKC on our first trip to Bakersfield about a month ago. Check in was easy and the guy who helped us was very helpful. We had hoped to pick up a clone or two but at the time they only had a seedling and some nice looking teens that were just a little bit out of our price range. We were helped by Junior and Junior (which is funny because they were collectively the second and third 'Junior' we've met in the past 6 months) After looking at the menu (my girlfriend couldn't see the board, but that was her fault since she forgot her glasses) and much debate, we got a gram of the Herijuana (which was FANTASTIC. Thanks for the recommendation guys). We also picked up a gram of KCKC full melt and a couple of Big Mama edibles. Because we were first time patients, Jr. and Jr. gave us a fantastic first time patient gift.
We stopped by again this month and once again left completely happy with what we got. This time, we picked up a couple of amazing clones, a gram of the Girl Scout Cookies, which we've been interested in and loved the way it smelled and looked (we can't wait to try it). We also got a bunch of $1 joints to save for later in the month and a 1/2 gram of the Diamond Dust.
This is definitely one of the most compassionate places we've been to. They know how far we have to go to get our medication and they have always been willing to work with us. We will definitely be stopping by when we're in Bakersfield. And for those of you who are complaining about having to show your rec each time you come in, get over it - they're not the only collective that requires you to bring in your rec. This keeps you and your access to legal medication safe. I'd rather show my rec each time and know that the collective is on the up and up than give my business to one that is in it for the money and not to patients. Thank you KCKC!

Last month, we were sadly disappointed with what we got, so this month we were skeptical about going to any other collectives in the Rosamond area. As luck would have it, where we planned on going ended up being unfeasible.
We decided to head to All Green because they had quite a few strains within our price range and we figured it couldn't be any worse than before. I called ahead and verified that they did indeed have what we were interested in (they claimed to have Pre 98 clones). The woman who answered the phone was quite helpful and they called me back quickly to give me an answer she didn't know.
The waiting room was warm and inviting and registering was fast. The woman behind the counter was very nice (and I think probably the same one who helped me over the phone). The budroom itself was as inviting and the budtenders were also very friendly. We were quite happy to see that even though they were out of some of the strains we were interested in, they still had quite a few strains within our price range. After checking out the different jars, we got a quarter of the Lavender, Big Bud, Smokey, and Lemon Haze. We also got a gram of the Banana OG (thanks guys!), a chocolate bar, a Pre 98 clone, and a Blackwater OG clone. Not only was our budtender knowledgeable and honest (let me show you the GOOD strains), so was everyone else in the shop AND they gave us a disability discount. It took us 3 days to sample everything we picked up - the lower priced strains are just as potent as the top shelf - and 2 bowls were more than enough to get us both happily medicated (normally, it takes us 3 bowls for the same effect) and the effects were long lasting. The Banana OG looked, smelled, and tasted incredible. Definitely a great selection!
This was definitely one of the best first time visits we've had and are SO glad we gave this place a chance. Without a doubt, this is one of the most compassionate collectives we've been to. They have the best quality medicine at incredibly compassionate prices. Thank you guys! We will DEFINITELY be back!
We try to make sure anybody can get their medication at every price range. Despite being skeptical thank you for having a little faith and paying us a visit. We appreciate you and hope to see you back very soon. You need anything just let us know.

I seriously can't believe we didn't discover this place until after we moved out of the area!
My girlfriend and I have stopped by here every time we're back in LA and each time have gotten incredible medicine for an unbelievably compassionate price. I do admit it's been a couple of months (we don't have internet where we live so it's hard to sit and do reviews as often as we'd like) but still, I want to thank the staff at THT for being an incredible collective.
I do have to say parking can be a bit of an issue - but really, that's to be expected on Ventura Blvd.
Last time we came in, we got a split ounce - I forget exactly what all we got - but my girlfriend and I were completely blown away by the price and quality of one strain in particular - Cheese Louise. This was a high quality, well grown and manicured strain with a price that could not be beat (it was one of the cheaper strains on the list but it was more potent than some of the higher priced strains we picked up).
Not only is the medicine fantastic, but the guys who work here are the best. We only come in once in a while because we live so far away, but they still remembered us from our other visits. The guys are super friendly and take the time to answer all our questions and are very knowledgeable of the strains they carry. There was one we bought, I forget what it was, but we were under the impression it was a sativa dominant strain but our budtender told us it was an indica dominant strain. Sure enough, when we got home and smoked some the next morning - we couldn't move off the couch and we quickly realized the error of our ways. We have been mislead by many a budtender (other places) who tells us a strain we're looking at is one type and when we get home, it's not what they say it is. Not here - so far, everything we've gotten has been what they say it was and more (although we were not as impressed with the Chocolope - but I think it's just because we're looking for intense effects and that was a little more mild that we'd like. After doing some research, we think that's just the way the strain is).
I really wish we could come by here more often and do whenever we have the chance. If you are in the area and want to get some quality medicine at a price that won't break the bank, DEFINITELY stop by - you won't regret it. Thanks!
Thank you so much! We appreciate your kind words... Please come by for a free customized gift.
