This place is overall a great great club. From the super friendly staff to the AMAZING selection of buds, this place gets two thumbs up! They have yoga on Saturday and free massages on Friday you need to take a look at. I've been going to sac clubs for awhile now and I can tell you there is no place with as great of quality of tree and super awesome staff. No doubt it is worth the trip up to shingle springs. 5 stars for a reason, go check it out!

Went Into Terra Meds because I got confused. I thought South Coast moved down stairs but they're not stupid enough to put big neon signs up that say "RAID ME". I asked what their best strain was, they replied "PABLO OG $60 8TH". I thought they meant 1/4 but they said an 8th for $60. Also who names their strains after Pablo Escobar? Do they worship him for being a drug lord to the point they need to make up strains named after him?

(Sometimes they take delivery ordered up until 8pm, but several times I've called between 7-730pm and have been told they won't take delivery orders that late. FRUSTRATING!!! If you're going to advertise your business hours as being until 8pm, you better damn we'll provide service until then!! Deliveries are never on time, and even though I'm only a few miles away, the last time they delivered to my house I was quoted an hour and then they didn't show up for TWO AND A HALF HOURS!!! Soooo let me say that i do echo some of the other reviewers that say that PLPA does carry quality meds kudos for that. But i really have a problem with any business that utilizes "sneaky marketing techniques" to lure a customer. To the point, i saw an ad in the reader for ALL TOP SHELF MEDS 40 1/8" , in looking at the menu i saw that the top price for any flower there being 65.00, typically the high is 60.00. So since the rest of the world is operating on one level where TOP SHELF is the best in the house, i call to verify that the ad is accurate and was told that yes it is accurate, but it only applies to walk ins (not mentioned in the ad), so since i really wanted some of this J1 24% THC at a bargain, i get directions and embark on my journey to the storefront through the suckiest traffic ever, get there, tell the guy what i want and turns out, "they have their own rating system", above top shelp apparently there is a "Private Reserve Level" which is where the J1 fell, which of course DOES NOT qualify for the discount. Its actually the regular 60.00 per 1/8, the actual top shelf of which they speak in the ad is actually midlevel everywhere else i guess? So they pitched me at the higher price, I declined, opted to just roll with it for now and i went for the 40 an 8th deal anyway even though the highest level Sativa was maybe 20%THC? got home and tested it, just as i thought, MID SHELF quality. So yea, im feeling a little bit hustled right now? smh

    MARIJUANA COMPASSION & COMMON SENSE
    RADIO SHOW

The Emerald Cup celebrates outdoor organic cannabis cultivation in Sonoma County and has been doing it for ten years. This year’s celebration comes out of the closet and is being held very publicly at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. This is a two day spectacular that includes performances from legendary dinosaurs Jefferson Starship, Canned Heat and Big Brother & the Holding Company as well more current music groups.

Our featured guest on the 6 p.m. Monday, November 5 broadcast and simulcast of Marijuana Compassion and Common Sense is Emerald Cups founder and Director Tim Blake. He will fill us in on the history and current status of this celebrated cannabis competition and what to expect on December 14 and 15 when it holds the 10th Anniversary Emerald Cup Outdoor Organic Cannabis Competition.

The city of San Bernardino may be both financially and ethically bankrupt, but that is not deterring ten candidates from running for mayor on Tuesday, November 5. Our second featured guest is Karmel Roe, the only mayor candidate seeking the votes of medical marijuana patients and law reform advocates. Learn about her platform to allow for collectives to operate in San Bernardino and her position on other mj related issues.

    Lanny's MAPP Newsletter
    October 5, 2013

I don’t ask much for myself usually, but this Monday, Oct. 7 I need your support in court.

Normally when court support is sought it is because one of us is being dragged through the criminal justice system. Whether it is their freedom that is in jeopardy at the hands of law enforcement or the lives of their children and the unity of their family threatened by Children’s Protective Services, we are there to show them support and hope that our presence can make a difference.

This time is it is different. Instead of “them” going after us, the tables have turned and we are going after our tormentors.

To very briefly recap for those who don’t know, in October 2007, I was attending one of the first meetings of the Inland Valley Drug Free Community Coalition. I wanted to find out what this new group was all about since according to newspaper stories and articles written by them, their entire reason for existence revolved around stopping the burgeoning medical marijuana and law reform movement. The fact that they were applying for federal money to support their efforts made it even more of a concern.

Concerned that my presence would prove both embarrassing and threatening, full-time drug warrior Paul Chabot, the organizer of the meeting, fabricated a story that I had pushed him so he could call 911 and have police rush over with lights and sirens to have me removed. Not satisfied with just getting me out of the meeting, Chabot filed a citizen’s arrest for battery and instigated a yearlong criminal prosecution.

After a four day criminal trial, the jury, in not much more than 90 minutes of deliberation, found me not guilty.

My ordeal through our justice system is but an irritant compared to the horrors experienced by those charged with far more serious offenses for their use, cultivation and distribution of marijuana. Even when found not guilty, those of our community who have experienced these horrors have had little recourse to seek justice for their malicious prosecutions. In this particular case I realized here was an all too rare opportunity to turn the tables on one of the chief proponents of our continued criminality.

I filed a civil lawsuit against Paul Chabot for false arrest and malicious prosecution. Due to an unending series of continuances sought by Paul Chabot’s attorney, the lawsuit has dragged on for over 4 years. Last August a newly appointed judge had enough of their constant delaying tactics and ordered Chabot’s attorney to appear in court for the trail. This Monday, October 7, the trial will finally begin.

Bringing to justice one of the Inland Empire’s major proponents of our continued criminality has never been done. This is not going to be a slam dunk. It is going to be tough to get him convicted, but it is time that our opponents are subjected to the same torments and cruelties of the justice system that they have so freely wrought upon us.

A strong show of support from our side will let the jury know that there are a lot of people out there who think this guy is a clear and present danger to the community and needs to chastised and shamed at the very least. It is this kind of demonstration of community support that gives jurors pause to reflect on the implications of their decision and can help sway them to do the right thing.

This trial will not be a boring and dull exercise in jurisprudence. It will be an exciting, riveting and even scandalous expose on the deceitful tactics and the flawed characters of our oppressors. In its own unique way, it can be viewed as an historic moment when the scales of justice will weigh upon the backs of those who have continually sought for their own personal monetary gain and public notoriety, our blood.

The trial begins on Monday, October 7 at 9:30 a.m. It is expected to last about three days. The trial takes place in courtroom R-10 on the third floor of the San Bernardino Superior Court in Rancho Cucamonga at 8303 N. Haven Ave., Rancho Cucamonga 91730.

Please dress appropriately. No shorts, tank tops or sandals are allowed. We will be providing green ribbons for everyone to wear, but if you have a favorite one of your own that brings hope and courage to all those who gaze upon it, please wear it proudly.

If you have any questions or need more information, call me at 760-799-2055 or send me an email.

    SPECIAL RALLY UPDATE

Despite the repeated attempts by the organizers of the NarcoCop conference to confuse us, the rally is going on as scheduled on Monday, Sept. 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We have had a terrific response from folks all over California as well as out of state, so join with your friends and allies to make a positive statement about the need for police to stop opposing the development of marijuana distribution systems in states that have legalized its use medically and recreationally.

We have a great line-up of speakers including attorneys and advocates of all persuasions. We are especially pleased that Chris Simunek, Editor in Chief of High Times magazine, is flying in for the rally and will be one of our featured speakers.

We are rallying to make our views known so bring signs to let the folks attending the conference, the media and everyone else see what’s on your mind. In addition to getting our message out, we are also there to have some fun, meet old friends, make new ones and network with patients and activists from all over California and elsewhere.

Please keep in mind that our personal behavior will reflect on our entire rally so please let’s present ourselves in a professional manner and conduct ourselves courteously and appropriately. Please keep in mind that there is a library nearby and our volume must be contained so that it does not cause any problems for the library.

I understand that there are differing opinions amongst us on how best to achieve our goals of safe, reliable, local and affordable access to marijuana whether it is for medical use or recreational use, but we are not there to argue over that. On this critical issue of police involvement in the political process, we need to present a united front.

The rally is about protesting the police use of taxpayer money to undermine medical marijuana laws and interfere in the ongoing political process to legalize marijuana. Let’s leave our disagreements at home and present a united front. There will be tables available if your organization would like to distribute literature, so contact me at 760-799-2055 if you would like a table.

Just a reminder - Weather.com predicts temperatures in the low 90s and lots of sun Monday, so dress coolly but appropriately and bring a hat. There will be seating available so you should not have to stand during the entire event. Although drinking fountains are nearby, you may want to bring a bottle or two of water with you. Restrooms are available very close by and everything is ADA compliant.

You are welcome to bring your own lunch or snacks, but there are also a multitude of food stands and restaurants nearby.

There is ample free parking available in the parking structures on both the East and West side of the Cultural Center. Once again everything is ADA compliant so people in wheelchairs and with other challenges should have no problem accessing the rally.

Just a reminder that there is NO SMOKING of any kind permitted at the Cultural Center or anywhere inside Victoria Gardens.
