Colorado voters legalized adult-use marijuana back in November 2012. On the first day of 2014, the state became the first in the country to start selling recreational cannabis. Colorado law allows adults 21 and older to buy up to one ounce of flower or up to eight grams of concentrated THC at a time. But you're allowed to possess up to two ounces of flower, thanks to a 2021 update passed by Colorado's legislature<\/a>.

Denver is home to about 250 dispensaries, and more than 1,000 licensed weed stores operate across the state. Buying recreational weed at the dispensaries is simple, requiring only a government-issued ID, like a driver's license or passport, to prove that you're 21 or older.<\/p>\n\n\n\t\t\t
