It's known for its <a href=\"https:\/\/weedmaps.com\/news\/2020\/05\/what-is-the-g-pen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">classic G Pen<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/weedmaps.com\/news\/2020\/08\/everything-to-know-about-the-g-pen-roam\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">G Pen Roam<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/weedmaps.com\/news\/2021\/09\/everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-g-pen-micro-vaporizer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">G Pen Micro+<\/a>, among other devices.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The brand recently released the G Pen Dash+, made for folks who enjoy dry herb vaping. We were fortunate enough to get our hands on one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wm-article-table-of-contents-header\" id=\"what-is-the-g-pen-dash\">\n\tWhat is the G Pen Dash+?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gpen.com\/collections\/g-pen-dash-products\/products\/g-pen-dash-plus-vaporizer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">G Pen Dash+<\/a> is a portable, handheld dry herb vaporizer. However, that can extend to three years if <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gpen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the device is registered on the brand's website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-temperature-settings\"><strong>Temperature settings<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The G Pen Dash+ has total temperature control, ranging between 320 - 420\u00b0F. According to its website, this device will reach your chosen temperature in abound 20 seconds. It'll alert you through haptic feedback that it's ready to hit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The higher the temperature, the more potent the vapor. However, you may lose flavor and nuance from the <a href=\"https:\/\/weedmaps.com\/learn\/dictionary\/terpenes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">high temperatures burning off the terpenes<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-battery-life\"><strong>Battery life<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A battery icon can be seen at the top right corner of the screen, so you'll know how much battery life you have left between each session. On a full charge, the Dash+ will last up to 40 minutes of heating time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wm-article-table-of-contents-header\" id=\"how-do-you-use-the-g-pen-dash\">\n\tHow do you use the G Pen Dash+?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dash+ can hold approximately 0.3 grams of ground weed in its herb chamber, but you can also mix in some <a href=\"https:\/\/weedmaps.com\/learn\/products-and-how-to-consume\/how-to-smoke-kief\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">kief<\/a> or other kinds of <a href=\"https:\/\/weedmaps.com\/learn\/dictionary\/hash\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hash<\/a> if you want a more potent hit. When ready, the device will vibrate twice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-step-4-consume\"><strong>Step 4: Consume&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Slowly inhale from the mouthpiece and let that lovely vapor coat your mouth and lungs. Exhale.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-step-5-power-off\"><strong>Step 5: Power off<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When your session ends, turn the Dash+ off by pressing and holding the power button for two seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-step-6-clean\"><strong>Step 6: Clean<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After it's off and has cooled down fully, give it a quick clean.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Soak a cotton swab with Isopropyl Alcohol \u2014 squeeze out the excess<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Swab around the silicone insert and over the screen&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Swab the areas inside and above the heating chamber&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If you notice a build-up of resin in the filter screen or you're vape is getting difficult to hit, give your device a deeper clean with these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Remove the filter screen and ceramic spiral path&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Soak them in Isopropyl Alcohol&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clean off with a dry cotton swab and let air dry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Re-insert into the Dash+ mouthpiece<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wm-article-table-of-contents-header\" id=\"is-the-g-pen-dash-worth-it\">\n\tIs the G Pen Dash+ worth it?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Typically, I don't like using dry herb vaporizers, but the Dash+ was a pleasant surprise. I tried it with three different temperatures \u2014 300, 375, and 420\u00b0F \u2014 and each hit effectively.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The vapor from my <a href=\"https:\/\/weedmaps.com\/strains\/lemon-cherry-runtz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lemon Cherry Runtz<\/a> tasted amazing. This vaporizer brought out a gassy, Runtziness unsurpassed by smoking it from a joint. Bonus: the hits were smooth and never made me cough. If that's an issue you have with smoking, you'll be good with the Dash+.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The high depends on whichever strain you're smoking, but I felt nice effects with this device. I got about 6 - 10 big-ass hits from each bowl throughout multiple 2-minute sessions, and I came out of it with heavy eyes and comfy relaxation. The all-around experience made me decide to keep it inside my lil weed sling bag from this moment forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ultimately, the G Pen Dash+ proves to be a great device. The hits are manageable, you'll get adequately high, and it makes on-the-go consumption easy.
