Similar to its chemical counterparts, the CBDV cannabinoid interacts with your body's endocannabinoid system to create a range of effects. In many ways, CBDV functions similar to CBD, most notably, in its potential therapeutic properties.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wm-article-table-of-contents-header\" id=\"medical-benefits-of-cbdv\">\n\tMedical benefits of CBDV<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To date, research suggests that CBDV could be helpful in treating seizures, Crohn's disease, symptoms related to HIV\/AIDS, and multiple sclerosis. Important studies of CBDV include:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/23902479\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2013<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, researchers concluded that CBDV, like THC, \u201cmay have therapeutic potential in reducing nausea.\u201d<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/apps.dtic.mil\/dtic\/tr\/fulltext\/u2\/1064689.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2018 report<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> concluded that CBDV could be a helpful form of treatment for autism spectrum disorder.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S0028390818304131\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2018 article<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> found that CBDV helped improve the health of mice with Rett syndrome, a neurodevelopmental disorder with a range of behavioral and physiological symptoms.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/31084246\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2019<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, researchers found that CBDV helped improve cognitive, motor, and neurological functions linked to certain types of genetic disorders.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Researchers recently published a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/30074247\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">study<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> suggesting that CBDV could help improve muscle quality and help slow muscle degeneration linked to Duchenne muscular dystrophy.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A non-intoxicating cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant that is similar to cannabidiol (CBD).
