R.A.M of Granada Hills
Recommendation/Alternative Medicine (R.A.M.) of Granada Hills is one of the oldest medical marijuana recommendation facilities in the Northridge area, proudly serving patients since 2009. With a commitment to compassionate care, the team at R.A.M. of Granada Hills takes the time to listen to the individual concerns of each patient and help them to access the best medical cannabis solution for their needs.
The founders of R.A.M. Granada Hills originate from an extensive history working with medical marijuana, previously owners and operators from a number of different collectives. In 2009, they were approached by a doctor wanting to help connect patients to medical cannabis and seeing a legitimate need for medical cannabis access in the Northridge area; they opened R.A.M.’s doors that year. They proudly continue to serve patients in their community, one of the first doctor clinics in the Valley that offered medical marijuana recommendations to patients. Committed to helping patients of all walks of life access the medicine they need, they have retained their price at the low rate they’ve offered since beginning their practice.
R.A.M. is proud to have helped thousands of patients access medical marijuana and learn about its many benefits since its inception. Patients appreciate their personalized approach, clean and uncrowded atmosphere, and talking to a doctor that doesn’t rush through sessions. Their doctor spends a significant amount of time to understand patients’ concerns, asking questions and thoroughly evaluating their health while paying attention to their needs. The R.A.M. team of doctors is very knowledgeable about the legal and medicinal information surrounding medicinal cannabis, and pride themselves on being able to verify facts and guide patients to additional resources no matter what questions they may ask.
The team at R.A.M. proudly offers evaluation and recommendation services for one low price, making it easily affordable to patients from all walks of life. They are happy to answer any follow-up question and do research to make sure they offer patients as up-to-date information as possible. Appointments are available as scheduled, either by phone or by email.
Located in Granada Hills, R.A.M. is tucked near the junction of the 405 and 118 freeways. They are proud to serve the Northridge, Porter Ranch, Sylmar, Van Nuys, Reseda, Canoga Park, Lake View Terrace, Sun Valley and North Hollywood communities.
Nestled in the hills of Northern Los Angeles, Granada Hills lies in the San Fernando Valley at the feet of O’Melveny Park and the Michael D. Antonovich Open Space. Lake Balboa and the Anthony C. Beilenson Park are a short drive south, host to the Japanese Garden in Lake Balboa. no a/c. rude incompetent Dr. All about money and not wellness. Very overpriced for basic stuff like needing a wallet size or needing additional planting permission or to carry more. I hate places that just milk the culture we fight for.
This was my first time getting a recommendation, and I was in and out very quickly. My only (minor) complaint is that the place looks kind of tacky. But that doesn't really matter in the end.
I have been going here for four years with no hassles. I advise anyone to make an advanced appointment to be sure the doctor is in. It's a fair fee for $35.00 and his rec's are on all dispensary verification systems.
I remember the first time I went to RAM of Granada Hills for a medical cannabis prescription. The receptionists at the front desk are very friendly, professional, and helpful. The process was very fast because of the exceptional customer service to patients. When I entered the clinic I was in and out in 20 minutes because Dr. Syal was very knowledgeable and descriptive about the many ailments and disorders that medicinal marijuana may treat without the harsh side effects from prescription drugs. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at RAM.
I called at 3:50 pm the guy told me they were opened till 6:00 pm. I got there at 4:05 pm and they were closed. I called three times and no answer! I was very dissapointed I went out of my way for nothing.
I have been going here for three years and I have had no problems at all. The doctor and staff are professional and have treated me well. The cost has always been $35.00 which to me is fair. Remember it gets busy and sometimes you have to wait a bit even if you have made an appointment.
Awesome everything. Everything professional and efficient. The clerks were awesome and extremely helpful. Very polite. My gf and I were in and out in no time. Doctor was attentive and answered my questions regarding my injuries and symptoms. I must say it was a very pleasant experience. To top it all of adorable & lovely gf got offered a job by the clerk. My gf and I highly recommend. Blessings :)
I went in to see Dr. Welsh and was feeling pretty nervous, but that feeling went away once I went inside. It's a very small unassuming place, but has a nice presence. There's a non-typical assortment of magazines on the table, aswell as a basket of Dum-Dum pops and Pixie Sticks. The guy behind the window was nice, dunno his name but he was in a wheelchair. All I had to do was fill out a small form, mainly with my initials, and I was ready to see the doctor within minutes.
Dr. Welsh may be one of the nicest people I've ever met, and possible coolest. He made me very comfortable and even offered me some Sees candy when I told him I was anxious. He asked why I was there and why I was interested in medical marijuana, he was very understanding and knowledgeable about my concerns and issues.
It was all very painless, and prob only took 10 minutes. I even asked if he could see my girlfriend (since she was already there), and he quickly agreed. We were both approved and educated, paid our fee of $35 and were on our way out!
So to sum this up, it was a great experience and I am very thankful to Dr. Welsh and the friend that turned us on to him. Couldn't have asked for it to go better!
