How To Go About Getting An Ohio Medical Marijuana Card In Just 3 Steps:

1) Determine if you qualify:

Patients must have one (or more) of the following medical conditions approved by Ohio:

Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Epilepsy (and other seizure disorders), Hepatitis C, Tourette Syndrome, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Alzheimer’s Disease, AIDS and HIV, Chronic/Intractable Pain, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Glaucoma, Cancer, Fibromyalgia, Crohn’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Spinal Cord Disease or Injury, Ulcerative Colitis UC), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), and Sickle Cell Anemia.

2) Obtain your medical records and set an appointment:

If you call our offices, we can give you step-by-step instructions for obtaining your medical records. However, our staff can also help obtain your medical records for you. Just let them know when you call to set your appointment.

3) Visit an OMC doctor and get registered as an MMJ patient:

Each of our doctors are certified by the Ohio Board of Pharmacy to recommend medical marijuana in the state. They will look over all your medical records, perform a brief examination, and determine if you qualify for Ohio cannabis. Once the doctor qualifies you for medical marijuana treatment, they will put together a treatment plan with you to more specifically address your symptoms and conditions. The doctor will write a recommendation letter, which is sent off to the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy. After this, you will receive an email with a form that, once you fill it out, will grant you access to your official Ohio medical marijuana card. This card can be printed, or accessed through your smartphone, and used in dispensaries throughout the Buckeye State.
