About Us

Dr. Huong Natural Health Medical Center
Dr. Huy Huong has practiced medicine since 1992 and received his Doctorate from the University of Maryland, Baltimore after achieving his Masters in Electrical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Huong practices integrative medicine, using all kinds of medicine to find what works, and he treats several patients where Western and Eastern methods are ineffective. He researched into Cannabis and Calfornia’s medical marijuana laws and found Cannabis to have an impressive amount of usefulness. Attending a cancer conference, he saw a handout regarding Cannabis therapies for cancer patients and saw firsthand how effective it cannabis could be. Dr. Huong was so impressed that such a small amount of MMJ could help so much, and after speaking to the patient from the testimonial (who was now doing very well and in remission), he decided to dedicate his practice to helping others. This decision eventually led to him founding his clinic: Natural Health Medical Center in Lawndale, CA.
Dr. Huong specifically looks for patients with different types of serious ailments to truly treat their pains and improve their quality of life. In his practice, he wants to learn more about how widespread Medical Marijuana’s benefits truly can be. Dr. Huong’s philosophy is to truly understand the big picture of each patient, to look for the cause of the ailment and not simply ease the symptoms, so as to truly help people heal and treat their ailments. In this crusade, he believes in exploring all avenues of treatment, all types of natural medicine, and encouraging his patients to aid him in their healing journey.
