About
National Access Cannabis-Victoria National Access Cannabis is Canada’s top resource for medical cannabis education and access, proud to have served upwards of a thousand patients in their first year of existence. Committed to removing the negative connotation of medical marijuana, National Access Cannabis’ Victoria office strives to offer professional, 100% compliant service and continuing education for its patients. Founder of National Access Cannabis Alex Abellan spent many years seeking philanthropic opportunities, volunteering time to work with underprivileged people to find lodging and job opportunities. As he worked, he met numerous people who found medical relief in cannabis as an alternative to prescription drugs, explaining the many successes and questions they had regarding the medicine. With so much anecdotal interest and patient need, he was surprised by the lack of available resources to answer those pleas for assistance. Spurred by his giving nature, Alex began developing what would eventually turn into National Access Cannabis: a medical marijuana resource committed to patient treatment, education, and empowerment. Today, National Access Cannabis is a leader both in Canada and on a global level for enabling responsible and informed access to medical cannabis. National Access Cannabis proudly offers several channels of information and the simplified access it gives their patients. Determined to crush the stigma of medical marijuana, they closely consult with a large number of physicians and doctors to whittle down the complicated procedures of Canada’s medical marijuana program into a simplified process. National Access Cannabis’ doctors all believe in cannabis healing potential, and walk each of their patients through a detailed explanation of its properties and uses. Following medical marijuana evaluation approval, patients gain membership and receive an ID card that easily confirms patient status with law enforcement as well as the increasing number of NAC facilities in Canada. Membership also grants access to a variety of cannabis-related activities and events, including cooking courses, cannabis infused yoga, cannabis-infused acupuncture and other marijuana related activities. As a thank you for their service, veteran memberships are free of charge. Membership benefits grant 10% off of all retail, guiding ordering from any licensed producer and free access to all events. National Access Cannabis gladly answers any questions patients may have about medical marijuana, and their doctors develop follow-up schedules with their patients to ensure medicine effectiveness. After qualifying patient eligibility, evaluation appointments are scheduled either by phone or in person at any NAC location. Service Locations: National Access Cannabis currently operates four offices in Victoria, Toronto, Halifax and Ottawa, and soon will open four more locations throughout Canada. Their Victoria location, right off the British Columbia 1, proudly serves the Oak Bay, Saanich, Fernwood, Oaklands, James Bay, Esquimalt, View Royal, and Cordova Bay communities. Location Information: Victoria, British Columbia lies just across the Strait of Juan de Fuca from Washington State in the US. Victoria houses such landmarks as the Craigdarroch Castle, Beacon Hill Park, and the Belfry Theatre. A short distance north are the Hudson’s Bay shopping center and Hillside Mall. Throughout Ontario and British Columbia, and soon the entire Canadian nation, National Access Cannabis is proud to serve patients from every corner of the country.
