Paid for a renewal evaluation and for them to fill out my paperwork. I thought everything was fine until I got a rejection letter from the state, citing that their doctor is not on file.
I contacted them, and they seemed to recognize that it was an issue, but could only tell me to send an email to the state registry with my name, DOB and SS#...couldn't tell me what else to include in the email.
The employee I contacted didn't know what else to put in there and said she would have a manager call me.
A manager calls, and says she will send me a template letter to send to the registry. It had the incorrect email address on it.
This morning I get another email with the correct address..except it isn't, and I have to interrupt my work to go dig for the real email address.
I went in for my appointment well before my card expires. This issue came up with less than a week and a half for my card to expire, and I am assuming it has now been delayed because of their neglect to file with the marijuana registry. I hope I can afford enough before my card expires to get me through their mess up, which generated a half assed "gee we're sorry" from MMD.
Travel a little further and spend your money with a business that has it together enough to comply with the laws and accepts responsibility for making the patients to the work we paid THEM to do.

Came here for my renewal. They moved since last year to a new office, much better than last year. Great staff. Quick and easy, was in and out in about 25 minutes. They took care of everything, including the state fee and mailing for a reasonable price. Overall a great experience.

was my first time getting a card, ever(i know. been medicating for years. don't know why i haven't already had one).
anyways, they where good and fast, given that i was a walk-in.
i was told there are cheaper referrals elsewhere, but given it was easy to access (walked from the colfax and penn area), the package (every step to get the referral), with walk ins allowed (one of the main reasons i went here), i couldn't have picked a more convenient and clean doctor office.
thanks guys. i will be back.

Last year I went to a clinic that isn't even around anymore! This office was great all around!!
Dr. Hong was friendly and knew his stuff! The people at the front were very helpful and speedy, and caught the error I put on my application. I got a package that took care of the whole thing, I didn't have to wait in line at the post office like last year.
Thanks MMD, I'll be back next year!!!!
If you are just looking to have a doctor sign off of your regular 6 plant carry limit, and you're willing to shell out $99 bucks to do it, then by all means go here. I will never go here again. I was a customer for two years prior, this would have been my 3rd renewal they had done for me. The thing that changed for me this time is I developed a severe pain condition within the past year, brought all my medical records and notes and medications with me, because I was looking at a higher plant count. I paid the extra $100 for the higher count and waiting for two hours. I finally saw the quack they call a doctor and he has to be the most ridiculous, untrained idiot they've ever given a medical license to. He didn't even know what my pain condition was called, even though he is supposedly a pain management specialist for the past 12 years? Then he criticized my prescribed, and legal use, of the narcotic pain medications I am on. I politely told him that using marijuana was one of my reasons that I could cut down on all of the narcotics I have to take. He then told me that the narcotics were probably more safe than marijuana, and he reminded me that he was the doctor. I should have just walked out then, given I had been criticized for being in pain already and treated like some punk kid? He proceeds to talk more and the more he kept talking I kept thinking, this guy is really a doctor?? He then wrote the doctors certification and wrote the name of my condition on it incorrectly! I politely told him that he made a little mistake and he proceeded to belittle me for being the only person who had corrected him all day. Well, sir, this is a state form and it needs to be correct is all I had to say to him. At that point I was over it, I had been treated like crap, even though I was probably the only person in that office with a legitimate condition!
If you are ok with shelling out $100 bucks for a red card by all means go here. There are hundreds of other places to go that you can get the same services for cheaper prices. I will NEVER go there again, and everyone I know already know they should never go either. I look forward to the legalization of recreational marijuana bringing the end to this shotty, thieving business.
GO ELSEWHERE IF YOU NEED A DOCTOR!!!!

Everyone was great, made me feel very welcome (even though I came in as a walk-in), and I was kept very comfortable while I was there. The reason for the 4 on staff is because while they were all very kind, they seemed a little... spacey. I'm not saying that the girl who checked me in was probably baked out of her mind, I'm just saying she was in the middle of a space expedition for a party of one.
