About

Malie Cannabis Clinic

Malie Cannabis Clinic is proud to be the first Nurse Practitioner owned and operated health clinic in the Hawaiian Islands, dedicated to providing peace and relief via medical cannabis certifications for their patients. Offering a safe and respectful environment, patients are evaluated by a compassionate and qualified nurse practitioner who works closely with each person to determine how medical marijuana can aid their conditions.

Me Fuimaono-Poe, NP, earned her nursing degree from Hawaii Pacific University and boasts 15 years of healthcare experience as a nurse with an additional four as a nurse practitioner. While working with her patients, she witnessed the true opiate crisis of prescription drugs on the faces of people she treated, with many side effects that lowered quality of life. She found marijuana to have many more medicinal benefits than other medications, and it was a much safer plant alternative for people who were at the end of their rope, who had tried everything or had simply had enough of prescription drugs. Firmly believing in its medicinal value, Malie Cannabis Clinic was founded as a full-practice family medicine clinic, specializing in medical marijuana and women’s health.

The most important part of Malie Cannabis Clinic is the relationship they form with their patients. Their process is a far cry from treating as many people as possibly in an assembly line; instead, they take their time with each individual to truly make them comfortable and understand their ailments. Every patient goes through a physical assessment, and as a full practice clinic, Malie’s nurse practitioner will consider a variety of treatments, including medical marijuana, to help her patients regain control of their wellness.

Malie Cannabis Clinic is proud to offer reduced certification costs to patients with SSDI. They follow-up with each patient at three months, six months and one year after the initial appointment, and if a patient needs to be seen again, their visitation is free. All questions are welcome either by phone or email, or in person, we accept walk in's as well.
