Compassionate Harvest Medical Clinic-San Marcos
Compassionate Harvest Medical Clinic in San Marcos strives to provide its patients safe and educated access to medical marijuana. Equipping and encouraging individuals to regain their health, Compassionate Harvest Medical Clinic is committed to being the top resource in San Marcos and the Valley to help patients obtain medical marijuana treatment, counsel, and education.
Dr. Wayne Kelly earned his Doctorate from McGill University in Quebec, Canada and practiced in family medicine for over thirty years as well as specializing in opiate addiction and alternative treatments. During his time in general medicine, he saw many patients struggle to get effective, reasonably-priced treatment, and he often contended with insurance companies to get patients any treatment at all. He discovered medical marijuana to be a low-cost replacement that patients could use to treat a spectrum of symptoms and afflictions. Thus, Compassionate Harvest Medical Clinic opened its doors more than seven years ago, one of the first to do so in the Inland Empire, and has provided relief to over twelve thousand patients since opening day.
Dr. Kelly and the staff at Compassionate Harvest Medical Clinic adjusts the treatment process to each patient’s unique medical condition. As one of the first doctors in the Inland Empire to embrace medical marijuana as a treatment, Dr. Kelly is one of the most certified and informed professionals to answer any questions cannabis usage or legality. Compassionate Harvest Medical Clinic prides itself on the guidance they give their patients. Their expertise and many years of practice assure patients that they are legally and safely obtaining a natural and low-cost alternative to pharmaceuticals.
Desiring to help as many people in need as they can, Compassionate Harvest Medical Clinic offers discounts to seniors, veterans, and individuals living further than fifteen miles from one of their offices, as well as reduced renewal fees for returning patients. The Compassionate Harvest team is accessible to answer any follow-up queries, and both schedule appointments and walk-ins are welcome.
Compassionate Harvest Medical Clinic has three locations in the Inland Empire and north San Diego County. Their San Marcos office is located off of East Mission Road and next to the 78 highway. Compassionate Harvest Medical Clinic is proud to serve the communities of Escondido, Vista, San Marcos, Bonsall, Oceanside, Carlsbad, and Valley Center.
San Marcos, California resides in the northern part of San Diego County, only a few miles inland from the Carlsbad Village and Beach. Home to California State University at San Marcos and Palomar College, San Marcos is a short drive north of San Diego proper, home of the MLB’s Padres and the NFL’s Chargers. From the Oceanside Pier to the Del Mar Fairgrounds, Compassionate Harvest Medical Clinic is proud to serve its widespread patient community.

How long does the whole med card process take? Looking into the whole deal ?

I called and the lady sounded so clueless. Come to find out the doctor had to leave early because he's "extremely sick". Yea yea yea, extremely sick my ass. Who gets sick on a Friday night? I'm glad i called because I would've showed up and wouldn't of been able to get my shit renewed. So unprofessional. I'm right here about to smoke this blunt though.
So, I first stopped into CHMC over two years ago when I first moved to the San Diego area. I was living in Escondido and found CHMC through WeedMaps. The staff took great care of me, explained how the process worked, as well as different effects of meds. I now live in Oceanside but I keep going back to CHMC because of their professionalism and good company. Can't recommend CHMC high enough.
At first I almost left as I arrived to find my appointment had been double booked and there were five people in a waiting room literally smaller than my walk in closet, however I found out they were walkins and I was taken directly into the office to skype with the dr who is totally kind and caring. I was in and out in 40 minutes with my recommendation . Call and make a appointment is the only thing you need to do, do not attempt a walk in you will just get angry in such a small space
The name says it all. I really didn't mind the short wait. The staff was very nice and helpful and the doctor was very helpful and informative. Thank you.

I called and called and called. I left two messages to make an appointment and got no return call. So, I decided to do a walk-in. I walked into a waiting room with 5 people in it so I knew it was going to be a wait. However, an hour later I still wasn't seen. They have you over a barrel and they know it and don't care. Took 2 hours total.

Takes forever for each patient, and walk ins are taken in front of appointments. Doesn't seem to matter if you've made an appointment, as my appointment was scheduled for 40 minutes ago and I'm still waiting. Meanwhile, she takes other walk ins first. Stop taking appointments if you're not going to honor them. I have other shit to do.
I have been seeing Dr. Kelly for years, he is professional, the office is comfortable, the people who work in the office are kind and quick. The visit takes as long as you need to talk about your condition. You are not rushed out in a hurry, nor is there any delay. I will continue to recommend Dr. Kelly!
It took a while before I could get in which is understandable because I was a walk-in but once I got in it took no more than 10 minutes to finish up. The staff was very friendly and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
Thanks for coming in to CHMC! Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. We love staying in touch with our patients!
I came in for my first visit and it was a comfortable, professional setting with great staff. The appointment with Dr. Kelly was stress-free and he really made me feel comfortable even though I was a little nervous, as did the staff. I would recommend this clinic to anyone :).
Thank you for the review! We're glad to hear you felt comfortable quickly. That's really important to us, especially for first-time patients. We hope to see you again!
