3rd time renewal at this place.....

This was the first time that the waiting room was packed. I had a 11:30 appointment showed up early at 11 and wasn't seen till 11:50 so I guess appointments are not honored. I didn't see the fine print that said the renewals are only if the rec isn't more than one month expired. I was a month and 16 days expired, I was told I still have to be a new patient, and pay $40 instead of $30. STill a good deal but whatever. the doctor was cool. the waiting room needs some art. I will go back but only because of the price and easy parking.

    Great Experience!

A very helpful & polite front desk associate & great pricing for renewing patients. The Dr. was also very polite & knowledgeable. I was in & out in under 30 mins! The prices quoted are correct & I would suggest getting the ID Card if you're a patient who smokes in your vehicle or outside of your own home (extra charge for ID Card). I gave only 4 stars for accessibility because it was a Sunday when I went in & the parking lot was completely full & backed up because of all the other stores in the shopping complex. That was the only down side.

    Excellent experience for FTP

1 person thought this review was helpful!

First off, parking situation sucks.... Waiting area was clean, busy for a Sunday, but the wait time was tolerable. Customer service would have been great if they hadnt kept trying to sell me the ID card... Other than that, it was fine. The doctor was very laid back but professional, and a funny guy. Made the wait time and parking situation virtually disappear...lol In and out pretty quickly, simple process... I recommend this office, especially FTP's ...
    Thanks,

    Easy & quick

Went on a Sunday, early afternoon, a few months ago, and was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The receptionists were ok, not friendly, but not bitchy either. The doctor was cool. He asked a few questions about my condition, checked my heart rate and blood pressure and that was it! My only gripe is that on their website, they mention to print and bring the coupon to get the new patient rate of $39. But that was totally unnecessary. You'll get that price regardless... no coupon actually needed. And as you're paying, they do try to upsell you an id card which is optional and completely unnecessary.

After doing my research on different doctors, I chose this spot cuz it is actually a doctor owned practice and they have a valid fictitious name permit with the California medical board. There are so many quacks out there, this was important in choosing the right place.

They have a parking lot, but even on a Sunday it was a little packed...but no biggie cuz i found a spot pretty quickly.

Good for a first time patient.

The parking in the plaza is kind of tight, but not a huge issue.

I thought it was oddly packed for a Sunday afternoon, but I wasn't worried because I'd scheduled an appointment directly from their website.

I go to the window and hand over my I.D. and the girl behind the window asks me to sign in on the waiting list. I tell her i have an appointment and she says, "That's weird 'cause we only do appointments during the week." I try to tell her the website didn't say there were any restrictions on scheduling appointments, but she brushes me off and tells me I have to wait regardless.

I sit down, fill out the forms and wait for my name to be called.

Dr. Gandy was very nice and professional, although she seemed a little rushed.

Aside from the woman who got a little sassy about the appointments I have no complaints.
