AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I wrote a long review explaining all the issues with this place which they deleted. I will keep reposting. This is the highest-priced dispensary in Toronto, with very little ever available for less than $14/g or $45/hq. They do not regularly carry any straight sativas or sativa-dominant hybrids... their selection is entirely heavy indicas with some popular hybrids (GSC etc) here and there. The weed is improperly stored in tupperware containers like your dealer in high school used, and is moldy and musty as a result... real amateur hour stuff. Staff is absolutely clueless. Direct quote from budtender: "all pink strains are the same, it just depends on how it's grown... there are no pink kush hybrids". The location has the decor and atmosphere of a trap house. Worst dispensary i've ever visited... they will delete this review most likely, so i am saving for repost. :)
Seriously, any of the other places on Spadina are far superior... Vital, Green Room and Cloud 6 are all cheaper, have a wide selection and actually stre their weed like proper dispensaries. Weed the North is less like a dispensary and more like if your dealer from highschool opened a stoorfront. AWFUL.
Everything about it is horrible price weed staff all shit I don't recommend this to anybody
It's too bad these guys feel like they owe you something, service is absolutely brutal. Nobody greets you when you get to the back room, you're left standing there feeling like you're waiting to be arrested in this sketchy spot. Do yourself a favor and go to Canniculture, this place will be shut down in a week or 2, AND I CANT WAIT!
So happy they were open! Super stoked to see this place still In Business !
Good flower, awful staff. The guys working there act like they are doing you a favour, and get annoyed when you ask any questions about the product. It feels almost exactly like walking into your asshole neighbourhood drugdealers place, and kind of makes the whole experience of actually going to a dispesnary feel redundant. The guys behind the counter are stoned and grumpy, and for someone who uses marijuana for medical purposes who wants to ask a few questions, it was just an overall terrible experience.
Great store with great staff. Everyone happy to help and recommend
The sign up and service was quick and enjoyable, I have recommended weed the north to my friends and will come by again!

I have read some reviews about this place lately and was unsure about coming to this shop even tho some of the reviews seemed a bit absured and a buddy of mine loves the place. That was until he brought me some space cookies he bought here! It was too much of what I love not to come down and check the place out. They have a short free membership process which is nothing new anywhere really. The staff was nice and had enough knowledge for me to make selections. Now for the part that pissed me off. The reviews I'm reading.1. They had a full selection of strains Ranging from 9-14$ with prices breaks at a HQ and a Q. 2. The "tubberware" they are using is glass which is what weed should be stored in, the shape of the containers is actually nice it allows me too see more of the bud and get more of the scent instead of a little hole at the top of a jar. 3.) I weighed some seeds at home and 20 weighed more than a point 5 so... Anyway I got a gram of indica and sativa at every price point they had. Out of 10 strains I enjoyed 8 out of them which is a pretty good average on par with other places I've been to. King pink! 14 a gram and it was worth it. Prob the best pink I've ever smoked top 3 for sure. Anyway this place was pretty good and I'll be back. I don't know what every1 else's problem is with this place. I guess they need gold carpets.
Started coming to WTN Spadina around Nov. 2016 & it was a good dispensary - reasonable prices, nice staff, only needed to show ID at the door to buy. However, it was taken a dramatic downturn starting in the New Year. Firstly, they implemented a new membership system in which the staff at the front desk takes a photo of you with their iPad & create a "membership" with your name, DoB and the photo on file so all you have to do is show your ID at the entrance, they look you up and you're good to go. At first I thought this was ok & I understand why they're doing it (to prevent robberies), however the customer does not know where this photo will be stored or used in the future - just an overall sketchy system that I know will drive away business. Furthermore, the bud has gone from good to downright disgusting. I purchased 2 g's, got home & there was 20 seeds in my 0.5 - I am not over exaggerating, I counted at least 20 seeds in a single 0.5 nug. For dispensary bud, this is absurd & unacceptable also considering I paid $12/g for this bud. Also, their staff are too stoned to provide sufficient service - no one behind the counter knows the details about the bud ("I don't know which ones are indica or sativa, sorry") and they simply look unfriendly and disengaged. I get it is tough to work at a establishment that sells marijuana and not use the marijuana, but if you are too fried to provide good customer service you should lay down the bud until you're off the clock. They are nice people but nice is only a part of good service. Finally, the prices are way too high for weed that is mediocre and they rarely have $10 grams throughout the day. Overall, there are many other places you can purchase marijuana in the city so I would stay far away from WTN unless you want to find 20 seeds in your 0.5 nug - I know I will never be going back and have told my friends to do the same.
