The Laughing Leaf Collective's goal and mission is to provide safe, dependable, and affordable medical access. Join us in starting something special!
All medical marijuana patients coming to join our collective are REQUIRED to have a FULL and VALID recommendation from a doctor pursuant to Prop 215, which includes a physical, embossed CA seal and an ink signature on the recommendation (not printed), and a valid California State ID. If a California State ID cannot be submitted then we ask for a form of PHOTO ID with proof of residency in California, as in: a utility bill, insurance card, phone bill, etc. We DO take STATE ISSUED plastic MMIC cards in place of the physical doctor's recommendation, but ONLY state issued cards. As a non-profit cooperative, we strive to provide the best medication available at the lowest possible prices, all donations are for the purpose of reimbursing our medicine providers and volunteers for the time and costs of producing our medications and running the dispensary. Our member growers are highly qualified to produce the highest quality medical marijuana under strictly controlled environments. The Laughing Leaf is a members-based, Mutual Benefit Non-Profit Corporation operating in strict accordance with the CA Attorney General's guidelines, California Prop. 215 and Senate Bill 420 H&S 11362.5. It is our intent to provide all of our patients with compassionate care and privacy, by providing safe access to medical marijuana grown under strictly supervised conditions. All medicine will meet the highest standards in quality, free from insects and pesticides. We will operate to ensure the trust of our patients and to observe the laws given by the State of California.

This dispensary is normally great, which is why I've made it a point to visit this place on average once a week, for the last two years.
However, the staff here have decided to regularly close early on slower nights during the week, which is unfortunately the only time I can make the trip to get my medication.
When I work until 9pm, I make the lengthy drive here in good faith that they'll honor their posted business hours. If you're going to close at 9:45, change your posted hours. It's simple.
I'm no longer interested in gambling my time with this place, and will instead give it to the delivery service I've used in the past that actually seems to value my business.
Hi there, we do apologize that you were inconvenienced by our early closure. We close weekly on Sunday's at 9:00pm and this past week we did close at 7:30PM for a volunteer function. We have had signage posted in the shop for over one week detailing our closing early on Sunday July 23rd at 7:30. We also had changed our Weedmaps for the day of the 23rd to reflect that. We are happy you enjoy coming to us and we truly do value your time that you give to us to find the medicine that works best for you. We understand how frustrating it can be to arrive onsite only to find a closed shop, however, in this particular case we do believe it was well communicated by our team. We thank you for the attention on this matter and we hope to continue to see you M-SA 8AM-10PM and SU 8AM-9PM - and yes about once per month or once every other month we do take time to appreciate the volunteers who make the Laughing Leaf, truly a place of compassion, knowledge, and happiness. Thank you again.
This place is great, the bud is perfect and fresh and the bud-tenders are friendly and super informative.
New favorite shop in Vista!
The bud-tender, Jake, recommended Cosmic Collision and it's everything he said it would be (uplifting without the paranoia), I highly recommend it!
Thank you so much for the awesome remarks! Highly recommend (no pun intended :D)
this place is hands down one of my favorite spots ! great staff and good bud ! one thing tho has anybody else notice that the girls seems to give less bud then the guys or is it just me ? that's the only thing bad about this place but the girls r very cute
Hello, every scale is linked to our system and there is no actual way for anyone male or female to give you additional meds. We are happy that this is your favorite spot and want to assure you that there is certainly no favoritism being played. We can't wait to help you find something you love again soon :D

Came in and was totally welcoming the women in the front was very sweet. Seemed like a busy weekend too come in but surprisingly was helped quickly despite the amount of people waiting . Christian helped me and he was knowledgable about his flower and took amazing care of me. Such a nice guy such good energy!! I wanted to tip him because he was so kind, he informed me that they don't except tips so here's my review I truly hope Christian gets recognized for his work. ✌🏼️
Thank you for the kind words. We greatly appreciate all of the patience we have received from patients, especially over the course of the past month. We hope to see you back, sharing more good energy soon!
I've been coming here for roughly 2 years. Always been taken care of above and beyond anywhere else. When I came in completely broken and trying to hold it together , EVERYONE in the shop came to me to remind me , they are truly here for patients on all levels. I felt so loved.
I can not thank y'all enough for being such a caring dispensary unit , it's not just about the donations here folks, it's about YOU the patient , customer , friend .
Y'all rock and thank you for everything! I won't add everyone's name here but you know who you are, much love my friends .
We love that you can experience our patient care on a deeper level than getting the best meds. We are a unique team of caring individuals who want nothing more than to make other feel less pain and more joy. Thank you for letting us into your life and for giving us the gift of loyalty. We appreciate YOU!

The Laughing Leaf used to be one of my favorite dispensaries until recently. With all of the dispensaries in Vista closing their doors, the selection is getting lower each time I go in. Products I love to buy are hardly ever in stock. The deals that I was once given either A. changed prices without notice or proof of any change of price, or B. are no longer available, or C. the wrong amount of flower is given. While I would rate this 5/5 a month or 2 ago, it is hard for me to give it anything higher than the 3.6 average score this review reflects. Additionally, a lot of the "budtenders" are no better than a random "drug dealer" selling dime bags of pot. There are some women that are good budtenders, explaining what is what and the effects it'll have on me, while others will give a recommendation of a product that I said I didn't want. The Laughing Leaf better step their game up or will be forced to close quickly. I was told that if I stay loyal to the Laughing Leaf, they would be able to keep their doors open... they are making it very difficult to stay loyal,
As someone who supports medical marijuana in the community, this message is absolutely horrific to be spreading about a place that you would have given a 5 star review to. It's almost ironic that you would call the people who are on the front lines daily, (even with the increased closures of shops), drug dealers. It's actually appalling that you would consider mentioning something so incredibly out of line for the level of care we give to our patients and the quality of meds that we have consistently carried. It's clear that you do not understand the hardships, nor the medicinal side of this delicate industry. Calling our volunteers ["random "drug dealers"] makes you what? A random drug addict? NO. You are a patient and we have and always will continue to provide PATIENT CARE to EVERY PATIENT who walks through our doors. The gender of our volunteers has nothing to do with your level of care. Everyone is provided with extensive training (unlike most places), and they are what makes this place one of the best. It's incredibly disappointing that someone who refers to us as once being one of their favorites, would not even bother to ask for further clarification on the status of medical marijuana within the city of Vista while visiting us at any point in time. Our donations are always listed on Weedmaps for your convenience and if you ever have an issue with your meds we appreciate a phone call to us so we can rectify the situation accordingly.
Just got my recommendation a week ago, didn't know what to expect. Excelent, cool, girl behind the counter walked me through the whole process. Very nice girl, A big smile and slightly flirtatious the whole time, A + in my book. When it was my turn, (didn't take long) A long haired dude went over all product's. Flower, edibles and concentrates. Way cool, no drama. Answered the few questions i had, no big upsale, I "donated" $60 for a 8th of top shelf, 5 g's for my first time, weighted almost 6 when I double checked it at home on my scale. Price was a bit high but on par for the industry. Only problem was there selection of flower could have been better and no moon rocks, But what the hell, The stuff was great. Will be back for sure.
Front of the house was very friendly. I saw them dealing with a confused patient (about how this all works & laes, etc) before me and the girl was still so nice & patient with her. The guy that helped me pick out my flower was super helpful top & explained everything really well! I would recommend!
Thank you for taking the time to mention our patient care. We truly do our best to help everyone and we are SO happy you experienced our level of care first hand. Thank you for choosing us and we hope to see you again soon!
Last time got some good stuff let's hope I can try something new and fun
