This a awesome place with a great location and super cool atmosphere along with knowledgeable bud tenders with amazing service, who can complain about that? Yet the art was a highlight for me, but hey that's me. The layout was very nice and welcoming, trust me I will me back to visit the community center, even check out some more art too, on my next trip up from SoCal. After checking out the selections, I was setup with some Mr. Nice and a few others strains, and on point and definitely worth the stop. Everything overall was amazing, Ill be back.
This place is not your ordinary dispensary. On top of the super relaxing lounge to medicate in, there is a community center which is open to the public. Classes, services and groups - all free & donation-based. Get great medicine, medicate and socialize in the lounge, then check out whats going on int he community center. Enjoy & Peace!
Went in to TWC for my second time this past Sunday and was treated to a perfect experience once again. Upon arrival I was warmly greeted by the woman at the front desk and promptly began the usual sign in and id/doctors recommendation verification and then took a seat. After being let back I was once again warmly greeted by the budtenders and after asking what I was looking for was guided to the medicine cabinet.
First I took a look at the co2 concentrate and settled on the candy crush at 63% thc. Good consistency, good color, and priced right.
I then proceeded to take a look at the flower and decided upon the lamb's Bread. Nice smell, good developed trichomes, nicely trimmed. My only complaint (and a minor one at that) was that it was a little dry. Smoked well and the effects were immediate and effective.
I love that TWC has a patient smoking lounge. As someone with a doctors rec I find it a nuisance to be harassed by law enforcement when medicating in my vehicle. It's nice to feel safe and comfortable. Plus they have some really nice glass and filtered chilled water to boot. I asked my budtender if I could use a concentrate rig and was told that due to insurance restrictions the patients could not use the clinic torches but that the hash bar was open daily at a certain time (hours elude me) but that I could use my own torch. After returning from my car I alas had no torch. I was in a lot of pain at this point due to my degenerative joint disease. I had not medicated that day and had been on my feet way too long.
Seeing my condition she kindly offered to heat me up a rig when she had finished with the one other patient. Kindness and compassion is what you will always find at TWC.
The concentrate killed my pain immediately and I was able to relax with another patient whom I met inside and chat while smoking a bowl of flower.
All in all a great experience. Medicine quality is on point, prices are reasonable, the staff is out of bounds awesome, and the smoking lounge really is a great feature.
Come up once a year from So Cal, been coming to TWC for a few years now. This year was no different, they always are on point. The Gorilla Glue was some of the finest flower I have ever had. If you are in South Tahoe, they are a must visit. My only complaint is TWC is not in San Diego! See you next year.
Visited here for the first time about a week ago.... I love it. This is my new favorite spot in South Lake. I got some Shock Shark that was great....and the CO2 shatter was on point and potent. The donation rates were cheaper than I was thinking it would be. Overall super easy process, cool people, great meds, and wonderful environment. The only thing I would like to see in the future is some organic flowers.....All love here.
This place doesn't keep it menu update. And when you call to find out information on availability they won't tell you. Also what's with this service charge? It seems this is the only dispensary that I've been to in California that charges for the privilege to do business.

I go in today to get some medicine, I understand that this place had some problems about a couple months ago; however, if you were not ready to supply medicine why are you open.
First lets start off with the strung out budtender. Do I need to say more about that?
He absolutely was one of the worst handlers I have personally dealt with. His demeanor was absolutely filthy, he had zero respect and was quick to tell me that they didnt have anything in my budget, instead of trying to work with my budget.
Not to mention he denied me my compassionate, Not that I am a breast cancer survivor trying to keep the cancer away with medicine.
I felt belittled, disrespected, unwanted and that my donations were not good enough.
I advise those looking to come to this place take into account of this review. I have been coming here (because everything else is closed down or too far) for awhile and probably wont return unless its absolutely my last resort.
These guys are AWESOME! today Jose helped me with everything I needed and then some. he had amazing product knowlage, was very willing to help, and was freaking cool too. he also sent me to Chris at the dab bar, and Chris also had amazing knowlage on in house products. He also was able to tell me so much info about extracts in general, and that was great to me that he took the time to teach me. the last time I was in the store a shorter guy with long hair helped me, he was also so helpful, and made my day. thanks guys, kudos and keep up the great work!
