for your medical marijuana in Seattle. I have been going here for about 6 months now. I have tried other places to see what they were like, but nothing compares to what SMMA has to offer. The staff at SMMA is absolutely amazing! They are always willing and able to help out by making a recommendation of meds depending on what your needs are, they are always getting in new product and accessories, and I can not think of a single time that I have gone in there and not been greeted with a smile.
Now the meds.... I would have to guesstimate that they have at any given time 15-20 Indica strains, 15 or so hybrid strains (both Indica and Sativa dominant choices), and 8-10 Sativa choices. This was a little overwhelming for me the first few times I went in, but everyone there that helped me was able to tell me about any strain I asked about, and also were able to tell me how it would affect me. If flower is not for you, they have a great selection of medibals, drinks, tinctures, and oils. Might I add that the oils are fantastic!
I could go on and on about how much I love this place, but you really have to go check it out for yourselves. In fact I ask that you do go and check it out and re-post what you think. Oh yeah, the member appreciation event that they had at The Rocksalt Steakhouse on Lake Union...FANTASTIC!!!
I hope this helped you in making an important decision, and thanks for reading.
Love this place! Been going here for my meds a while now and it paid off. They had a VIP member appreciation party at the Rock Salt Steakhouse this last weekend. The place was decked out in green decorations, there was a live band, raffled medibles, gift certificates and bongs, free samples, food and drinks and a members only vapor lounge out on the terrace. AMAZING. These guys really care about their patients and aren't afraid to spoil them for their loyalty. I will continue to be a fanatic SMMA member!
This place has the best selection of high grade medicine that I have ever seen! The staff is very knowledgeable and are great in assisting me with the several choices available. I greatly appreciate their excellent products and their professional, friendly service!
I initially received my medical authorization back in February 2011 for muscle cramping and tightness. So my first time ever going into a co-op was at SMMA. Being my first time, they were extremely helpful and patient, and made sure that we found the most appropriate medicine to combat my ailment. Since my first time to Seattle Medical, I've gone to other co-ops around the area and time after time, they just don't compare to SMMA. Some lacked in the quality of their medicine, while others failed to create an environment that focuses on the patient and their reasons for being there in the first place. Having a consistent diversity of high quality medibles, and edibles, truly sets SMMA apart from any other co-op in the area. Their friendly and helpful staff, also does a great job creating a comfortable environment for their patients, and they don't make you feel in any way ill-informed about your medicinal choices and options.
SMMA was my first dispensary and the place of my flower child birth. Much love for SMMA. Clean facility and they got a shop onsite with lots of products.

This place has great variety of strains which is important, but the staff and workers are extremely snobby and have a holier than though attitude which I really don't appreciate. I found them to be dishonest and disrespectful of my time. There are too many other dispensaries with better staff and attitudes to waste your time with this one. Plus, good luck with parking.
We apologize for your previous visit. Since you last stopped by we have brought on a whole new crew that is dedicated to better customer service. We hope you'll give us one more shot.
I really dont understand the reviews of this place prior to August. They're staff was very friendly and informative. This was by far the safest dispensary environment, you feel like you are at the doctor's office and its a great location that is easy to find. All of their top shelf strains are significantly higher quality than ANY other place I have been to and all $12/g. Huge array of edibles, including a few Gluten/dairy free, which amazed me because I have a strict gluten AND dairy free diet and I can never find any edibles.
I've been to a lot of dispensaries, and this is the one I always come back to. Hands down, the best. Even the new 520 toll hasn't stopped me from crossing the lake to get here, it's worth it.
First of all, the staff is really knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. They really know their stuff, and if you're new to medical marijuana, that means a lot.
Their selection is amazing, and this is really what keeps me coming back all the time. They clearly label their strains, so you know what your getting. And I love how they lay them out like a spectrum: Sativas at one end, Indicas at the other, with all the hybrids in between. It's like a weed rainbow!
And then of course, this is the absolute highest quality bud around (the other big deal). I actually had the opportunity recently to try the same strain from both SMMA and another dispensary at the same time, and the other one just did not compare to the SMMA quality. The other stuff may as well have been street dirt weed by comparison.
Wow, what a great place! Don't understand some of the other bad reviews people have written. Every time I have been to S.M.M.A. it has always been a positive and enjoyable experience. The staff has ALWAYS been nice, atmosphere is ALWAYS pleasant, and the budtenders that served me were very knowledgeable about there products. I have been a grower myself for over 30 years and have been to many dispenseries up and down the coast. These guys at S.M.M.A. are second to none!
I have found a little patience and common sense goes a long way in life and some people just don't get it, or they just don't care if they get it. duh! Keep up the great work at S.M.M.A. I have sent 5 people their way and not one has been disappointed, ever!
so i was in need of clones. so i started looking, i found S.M.M. had clones and good reviews. i called them the staff member that i spoke with was very short with me. i asked if i get a price break if i fill my perscription. the answer i got was "we dont discuss prices over the phone" i was a little thrown off but i drove down to seattle almost couldn't find them. when i got there i was filling out my paper work and another patiant showed up. they asked if they could let him in front of me. thats fine i said. set for like fifteen min. then it was my turn the budtender was young totaly uninformative did not know the flower times rushed me in to buying my clones i also wanted some dry meds they had a lot of what apeared to be outdoor. i got my clones home gave them bigger pots and sat back to look at them and then i noticed they all were in the early stage of flower. i called them back asked for a refund. they told me that the budtender would call me back to work it out. the next day still no call i called them back asked if i could just excange the clones i bought for seed. they siad the boss is not around i cant make those dissions. so i bought the seed i even brought them some nuggs as a gift. i have been waiting for a phone call or something... still waiting. what a waist of time.
