Pot Stop is a Seattle Adult Use Marijuana Dispensary
Pot Stop offers recreational marijuana and cannabis products to Seattle visitors across the Puget Sound. Providing a wealth of education and cannabis know-how, Pot Stop strives to be the ultimate destination for high-quality adult use marijuana information and product.
Pot Stop originally opened their dispensary as a medical marijuana facility in 2011, serving cannabis patients until Washington decided to eliminate their medical marijuana operations. The owner wanted to bring their passion for marijuana’s positive potential to the masses in Seattle, offering alternative relief for people who wanted to steer clear of pharmaceuticals. Reopening as a recreational dispensary in early 2016, Pot Stop applies their in-depth knowledge of marijuana and dedicates time, patience and value into their customer service relationships. They serve nearly 300 patients each day and are proud to spread the good word of cannabis to their Seattle community.
While there are plenty of dispensaries in Seattle, none can compare to Pot Stop’s customer service and cannabis knowledge. Each of their budtenders offers a wealth of marijuana understanding and experience, allowing them to guide their clients to the perfect smoke, dab or edible experience they seek. Listed as a top ten dispensary in the Seattle area, their knowledge of the marijuana products brings customers back again and again, and they’ll always make an honest recommendation based on experience.
Pot Stop is proud to carry upwards of 200 marijuana products in their Seattle dispensary, with anywhere between 50-60 flower strains, dozens of edibles and concentrates, and a variety of tinctures, pre-rolled joints, and glassware. All cannabis goods come from high-quality Washington growers and processors, and Pot Stop collaborates with external extractors to supply consumers their selection of house-exclusive concentrates. Green Acre Farms exclusively provides Pot Stop with their excellent flower strains, including their Pink Lemonade, a Pot Stop dispensary favorite. Their Torch Wax by Torch Northwest often sells out, and Pot Stop always is seeking out new and exciting products to add to their dispensary line-up. All cannabis goods are lab tested, hitting the shelves with their analytics on file.
Pot Stop currently accepts cash only, offering an ATM on site for patient use. Their dispensary offers Seattle customers a rotation of daily discounts and specials, as well as hosting vendors to give talks in detail about their unique cannabis products. They offer 20% off to consumers who leave honest reviews on Weedmaps and are happy to answer questions over their Facebook, Twitter, email or dispensary phone.
Based in the Upper Fremont neighborhood of Seattle, Pot Stop’s dispensary offers a limited parking lot with handicap accessibility for their visitors. Their site provides great cannabis goods and services to the Fremont, Seattle, Queen Anne, Ballard, Lake City, Shoreline, Alki, West Seattle, Columbia City, Georgetown, Medina, Bellevue, Mercer Island, Clyde Hill, Delridge, White Center, Allentown, Tukwila, Renton, Factoria and Newcastle communities.
Seattle is a larger city based on the Puget Sound along Elliott Bay in Washington state. Seattle is home to both CenturyLink Field, home of the NFL’s Seahawks, and Safeco Field, of the MLB’s Mariners, as well as the Key Arena. The towering Space Needle stands over the city, while the Pike Place Market houses hundreds of tourist shops, museums and art galleries. From the Paramount Theatre to the Lake Union, Pot Stop proudly serves their Seattle dispensary community.

I've been to a lot of dispensaries, and this is the one I always come back to. Hands down, the best. Even the new 520 toll hasn't stopped me from crossing the lake to get here, it's worth it.
First of all, the staff is really knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. They really know their stuff, and if you're new to medical marijuana, that means a lot.
Their selection is amazing, and this is really what keeps me coming back all the time. They clearly label their strains, so you know what your getting. And I love how they lay them out like a spectrum: Sativas at one end, Indicas at the other, with all the hybrids in between. It's like a weed rainbow!
And then of course, this is the absolute highest quality bud around (the other big deal). I actually had the opportunity recently to try the same strain from both SMMA and another dispensary at the same time, and the other one just did not compare to the SMMA quality. The other stuff may as well have been street dirt weed by comparison.
Wow, what a great place! Don't understand some of the other bad reviews people have written. Every time I have been to S.M.M.A. it has always been a positive and enjoyable experience. The staff has ALWAYS been nice, atmosphere is ALWAYS pleasant, and the budtenders that served me were very knowledgeable about there products. I have been a grower myself for over 30 years and have been to many dispenseries up and down the coast. These guys at S.M.M.A. are second to none!
I have found a little patience and common sense goes a long way in life and some people just don't get it, or they just don't care if they get it. duh! Keep up the great work at S.M.M.A. I have sent 5 people their way and not one has been disappointed, ever!
so i was in need of clones. so i started looking, i found S.M.M. had clones and good reviews. i called them the staff member that i spoke with was very short with me. i asked if i get a price break if i fill my perscription. the answer i got was "we dont discuss prices over the phone" i was a little thrown off but i drove down to seattle almost couldn't find them. when i got there i was filling out my paper work and another patiant showed up. they asked if they could let him in front of me. thats fine i said. set for like fifteen min. then it was my turn the budtender was young totaly uninformative did not know the flower times rushed me in to buying my clones i also wanted some dry meds they had a lot of what apeared to be outdoor. i got my clones home gave them bigger pots and sat back to look at them and then i noticed they all were in the early stage of flower. i called them back asked for a refund. they told me that the budtender would call me back to work it out. the next day still no call i called them back asked if i could just excange the clones i bought for seed. they siad the boss is not around i cant make those dissions. so i bought the seed i even brought them some nuggs as a gift. i have been waiting for a phone call or something... still waiting. what a waist of time.
What more can you ask for !!! service with a smile- good stuff- and knowlegable staff
They always seem to have a good amount of quality buds, but if you want something listed on the menu, call first to make sure it is in stock. Prices are higher than most, but again...so is quality.
Stairs and no wheelchair ramp make this location impossible for a wheelchair or anyone that struggles with steep stairs.
Staff is not highly informed, and it always seems to be a struggle to come up with my total bill.
I don't care for their edibles, but they have a grower that knows how to grow an excellent Diesel... Redway Diesel, Blue Diesel, etc. I always try and find that growers strains in the selection as they are the best.
Seattle Medical is everything I could have ever hoped for. They had an incredibly vast selction of strains, and a great selection of edibles. Th staff was very professional and kind. I can't wait to go back.
So I visited SMMA recently and I was satisfied with the quality of their bud medicine but not for the price donation they were asking. They had a decent selection to choose from 5-9 strains but I have been too other places with 15-20 at all times. My concern for patients driving to this place is that the parking isn't conducive for having multiple patients at a time. they only had 2 parking spots outside their building, there is street parking but during the day almost all the spots along the roadside are taken. The Worst part of my experience was the 2 flights of stairs I had to walk up to get to the front entrance. I have very bad hip and knee problems and I could barely make it up steps because of my need for a cane. So Wheelchair patients are totally out of luck to see first hand what the medicine looks and smells like and if the asking donation price is worth that given medicine strain. The Staff is helpful but their knowledge when it comes to exactly what strain has which medicinal qualities was a bummer. I was told that a med i got was a sativa dominant hybrid but when i researched the strain after I was home it was an indica dominant strain.
So sorry about your visit to our old location. Since you last stopped by we have moved to a very easily accessible location in Fremont that is fully ADA accessible. We even have a spot in front just for ADA parking. Our selection is vastly superior to what we had available before. We have also improved our customer service and product knowledge with paid employees, not volunteers. Please come by again soon.

Great place to pick up the most expensive MMJ I've ever seen in this state. $320/ OZ, and up to $13 for the gram.
They have $2.50-$10.00 edibles, of all sorts, and these are OK. One $10 edible didn't hit me that hard, and I normally only vaporize about a quarter of a gram to medicate.
They offer for donation things not on the menu online (which is almost never updated) like hashish (afghani, bubble so far sampled), tinctures (meh, these are weak compared to what I am used to, but do work and taste better then any other I have tried), and living plants.
If you have the money to burn for the best stuff you can get in the seattle area, walk on in. But don't expect to get a great deal.
The exception to this rule is their concentrates. At a donation of twenty dollars per gram, these are a steal. I have never sampled anything quite like the afghani (delicious, spicy, excellent medicine with almost no bite or drowsiness), and the bubble is always great. Call ahead to make sure you can get a concentrate, as sometimes they run low.
Also, one staff member once told me there was no such thing as Sativa and Indica, that everything they sold was a hybrid. This kind of annoyed me, as I don't smoke indicas before I run, and it's hard for me to medicate if I don't know that kind of thing (at least the first time I try stuff).
A lot has changed at SMMA since then. We have moved to an ADA accessible building. We are no longer volunteer run, we have hired employees dedicated to customer service and informing patience. Our hash selection is still the best around and our bud prices have stabilized. Come back and see us again.
