As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted by the receptionist, she was friendly and professional. I was able to go directly back without any wait. The friendliness continued with the budtender, I was told the daily specials and asked what brought me in. I explained to the budtender that I was looking for some full melt hash. He showed me the large selection of flavors; David Banner, Gorilla Glue, Tange, OG Mix, and many more. He made a couple recommendations to his favorites, and continued explaining all the different micro choices. As soon as I opened I could tell it was high quality. Each strain had a beautiful blonde color, and you could see the trichome heads. There was no green tint to the product like most dispensaries’ around town. I chose 2 grams of Gorilla Glue, in 73 micron and a 45 micron. The price was cheaper than I had expected, only costing 35 apiece. As soon as I got home I finger pressed a bit between wax paper, the patties greased up nicely, and left no residue on the nail. The taste and high was exactly as expected from such a high quality product. It’s hard to find a high quality organic full melt but River Rock delivered, the staff is friendly, the product is true top shelf, and the price is even better. I will be a returning costumer and may even sign over my caregiver ship.
This is part of my 30 dispensary quest to find a new shop after mine fell off in recent months.
The staff here seem disinterested. They also didn't have an ATM. Fantastic.
The buds were your run-of-the-mill organic soil--grown buds. They all smelled similar, looked similar, and were quite larfy.
They smoked just like you would expect. Weakly, and with limited effects. These prospect buds went into my jar of misfit buds, only to ever be seen again for cooking purposes.
Not a great place.
I would never return here again. I had a friend shop a here a couple times and I tried the product each time and it was garbage, unflushed and gross. We tried the moonshine haze, harlequin, and SFV wax, all priced at $25 recreationally around April 2015. The staff were kind of dicks. The inside is split between recreational and medical and is kind of weird. Not sure if I'll return for a while.

Good Buds! Avg prices! Can't say anything bad about this place. GOOD JOB YALL!
So I have to admit that when a friend of my boyfriend told me about this place because it was his favorite dispensary I was kind of already sold because he is a cannabis connoisseur so I knew I could trust his judgement.
I expected the place to be legit but RiverRock is by far one of the most aesthetically pleasing dispensaries in all aspects. The tenders are so personable and make my purchasing experience relaxing and effortless. They give excellent recommendations and carry only the finest selection of strains. I mean even their "best value" is top notch bud. They also offer $20 1/8th bins of sativa and indica strains that I raid every visit and let me tell you, that selection is impeccable. And from time-to-time you can find some pretty incredible deals like over 9g of some fire shake for $25. Can't find that in many places. Furthermore, it has such a modern yet classy atmosphere. I could kick it at this place all day burning trees and enjoying the company of some of the chillest folks I've met in Denver hence why I go there at least once a week. It's my main squeeze and so long as I'm in the Denver metro area I will continue my loyalty to RiverRock South! Salute!
Had a pleasant visit today. Good deals, good product, friendly staff. Previous incident was resolved in a professional manner. Will definitely be back. Thanks guys

This was the premier cannabis store in Denver and maybe US. Money obviously became the most important factor. The store was going down hill before Rec, with Rock Butter leaving and starting to charge by the hundredth of a gram. After Rec with Scott leaving I will never walk in the doors again after spending many thousands. I hope you guys can get back to the old North days
Scott Never grew for us, the grower producing RD strains is still working in house. Also we have Flat Rate pricing, we Do Not charge by the hundredth of the gram. Lastly we had to cancel our RockButter program and are working diligently with the state to reopen our labs as quickly as possible as to start producing Live Resin and Shatter again for our patients.
So i dont know about the guy below, but feeling like i know my stuff and have been my own caregiver for awhile, i made them mine not even a week ago...
I have only come to the south location, but have been nothing but impressed every time i come in. Very nice people, knowledgeable, and a great variety every time. REAL STRAINS, kromes white, real chems, FIRE og, come on, if you're looking for those run of the mill strains and not amazing 100% organic, then dont go here LOL. amazing pricing, good nugs, great edibles and selection (their teas are awesome). and i wont even get started on stocking essential extracts and their own rock budder!!!
True representations of the real deal strains, and all done right. burn to a great white ash and taste through down to the last puff on a pre-roll. I love this place! it really doesnt get much better, as far as any medicinal (CBD products) needs, flowers, people and pricing.
Thank you for doing what you guys do. Party on!

I went here after seeing all the great advertising and the reputation this place was building so I thought I'd give it a try....I'm extremely picky about my flowers and I ask a lot of questions about strains, genetics, etc. The budtender knew about the grow method used, two week flush, etc...but when I asked him about the genetics of the strain he didn't know....luckily I did so I purchased, went home, fired up the volcano....then promptly went back when I could to return what was left after not being able to finish it-- the taste was horrible. They were nice about the return and I went through all the strains i saw this time in detail...nothing too impressive looking or smelling in the indica realm which is where I live... Got some purple nepal that looked horrible but tasted ok and was actually pretty strong medicinally. Great atmosphere, nice shop and nice people...just didn't live up to the hype.
