First it's a good location and there's always parking. They have a friendly staff, not pushy, very helpful. Doesn't feel like I'm visiting someone in jail when I walk in. No weird security guy or plexiglass windows. The best thing about them is the product. You can't beat the $75 ounce deals. The bud is dry but on point. I see people complain about how dry green is but the air at this elevation dries everything out. I'm talking about the quality of the medication. 15 years growing experience, I know a few things. It tastes great, it's cured properly and has the desired effect. No chlorophyll (grass) or fertilizer aftertaste. I've been all over this city buying weed, enjoying the process and seeing how different dispensaries do things. I'd buy value bud and quality and I usually got what I paid for. Needless to say my opinion on value ounces has been dramatically altered. I've bought 5 so far, some had more stems but they all smoke nice. 20% veterans discount on non sale items too.
This dispensaries is completely on point!!
Everyone that works here is super helpful always offering for you to smell the bud if you feel it necessary but the beautiful bud speak for itself if you do in fact get lucky enough to get there early enough for the $75 ounce *(So Incredibly Grateful by the way)* they always always let you pick which one you want if there are others to select from!!!
Picked up a $75 ounce. I got Flo OG. After removing about an 1/8 of larfy leafs and stems I had about a 1/4 of nugs and the rest were little pieces of nugs.
In the jar it has a very faint green tea smell which leads me to believe the cure was not long enough. Breaking the bud up you do get that Flo smell to come out, but just. Rolled up a j of the nuglets and put a nug in my bubbler. I won't lie there is a comedown of this bud. I don't think this was flushed well at all.
Overall = Even for $75 the bud is pretty bad. Smells like green tea and has no flavor. Wouldn't recommend.
Atmosphere= very chill vibe (I know, what a cliché.). Nice relaxing colors throughout and no confusion on where to go as the med and rec are in the same room.
Staff= Had a grea budtender. Can't remember his name, but he was very inviting and knowledgeable. I felt no pressure to purchase anything. He also reminded me that I get BOGO joints as first time patient. Receptionist was very kind and attentive. Overall, incredible staff
Accessibility= Busy intersection with few spots, but I was able to park easily and getting out of the downtown area is easily done.
Price= Even at $75 for an ounce I feel I paid too much.
Overall= Just not very good flower.
Came in to try the $75 Oz deal. I was expecting a stemmy crappy strain, but they had multiple to choose from. I was impressed with the guava and flo og and walked out of there feeling like I robbed the place. Will definitely be back. The buds had nice trichomes, had been cured properly, and smoked up nice. How can they sell them so cheap?! Love it.
This is my new go to.. I appreciate the care and attention and quality my pain is a manageable monster with their help keep up the great work!

As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted by the receptionist, she was friendly and professional. I was able to go directly back without any wait. The friendliness continued with the budtender, I was told the daily specials and asked what brought me in. I explained to the budtender that I was looking for some full melt hash. He showed me the large selection of flavors; David Banner, Gorilla Glue, Tange, OG Mix, and many more. He made a couple recommendations to his favorites, and continued explaining all the different micro choices. As soon as I opened I could tell it was high quality. Each strain had a beautiful blonde color, and you could see the trichome heads. There was no green tint to the product like most dispensaries’ around town. I chose 2 grams of Gorilla Glue, in 73 micron and a 45 micron. The price was cheaper than I had expected, only costing 35 apiece. As soon as I got home I finger pressed a bit between wax paper, the patties greased up nicely, and left no residue on the nail. The taste and high was exactly as expected from such a high quality product. It’s hard to find a high quality organic full melt but River Rock delivered, the staff is friendly, the product is true top shelf, and the price is even better. I will be a returning costumer and may even sign over my caregiver ship.
This is part of my 30 dispensary quest to find a new shop after mine fell off in recent months.
The staff here seem disinterested. They also didn't have an ATM. Fantastic.
The buds were your run-of-the-mill organic soil--grown buds. They all smelled similar, looked similar, and were quite larfy.
They smoked just like you would expect. Weakly, and with limited effects. These prospect buds went into my jar of misfit buds, only to ever be seen again for cooking purposes.
Not a great place.
I would never return here again. I had a friend shop a here a couple times and I tried the product each time and it was garbage, unflushed and gross. We tried the moonshine haze, harlequin, and SFV wax, all priced at $25 recreationally around April 2015. The staff were kind of dicks. The inside is split between recreational and medical and is kind of weird. Not sure if I'll return for a while.
