After being medical for years, Rainier Wellness crossed over to the Washington recreational market in the middle of 2014. The changes in laws and introduction of the new industry being accepted by the state has inspired us to be a part of a road being paved for an industry that will surely change our country with the marijuana law reform that everybody has been waiting for! One step or state at a time!
By I502 law, a retail outlet such as us has to follow different rules than what some medical patients may be used to. Please read the following to understand what may differ if you are used to a medical market:
- Washington State Liquor Control Board restricts recreational retail outlets from openly discussing the medical applications of cannabis. This is not to dispute medical applications, but to clearly state that we are not physicians and should not be diagnosing medical issues or prescribing medication for issues you may be dealing with. If you have medicinal interests, we encourage you to do research through Leafly.com or SCLabs.com and come to the store with a general idea of what you will need so our staff will not be in a position to risk medical talk beyond their permissions.
- Washington State Liquor Control Board restricts the opening of packages on our property. The recreational cannabis world in Washington is regulated by the Washington State Liquor Control Board and many of the types of laws and procedures you see in alcohol stores apply here as well; including open packages.
- Washington State Liquor Control Board restricts retail outlets (such as ourselves) from being affiliated with any of the producers and processors of the cannabis. What this means is that we can't grow or make our own cannabis products for you. So when you try something off our shelf, we didn't grow it, package it, or weight it. If the product isn't good or has a problem, please let our managing staff know. We take feedback very seriously and will gladly consider these reviews as they stack up when we need to decide who stays on our shelves. With that said, we don't have any biased opinion or incentive to sell you one thing over another. We just want to make sure you leave with the right product for you.
Please come visit us and we'll teach you anything regarding the new laws or cannabis if you have questions or concerns. If there's not much curiosity and more of a need, we'll find you the right bud for your day and send you off with a smile! We'll see you soon!!

Id like to come in but just now checking your menu it was updated 8 days ago. Not to mention no prices listed. There are shops who update their menus constantly with prices and thc/cbd % so I can shop before I waste time going to a store not knowing what is available. Please take a couple minutes and update your menu during the day and I will stop by.

I was burned for $45 on a disposable vape pen that quit working after two days. It still has over 1/2 of the oil left in the pen. I tried to exchange it but they said its illegal to do anything after 24 hours. THATS A LIE! There is no such law! DONT SHOP HERE ITS A RIP OFF!
I purchased a vape Cartridge from them a few days ago and it never worked. When I took it back just to get one that did work they informed me that there was nothing they could do. So now I am stuck with the junk they sold me. I will not be back
thanks guys, the elevate cannabis co : animal cookies was awesome and priced fair unlike most places! very clean and dank, bud tender smart knows whats up, will shoot thru again!!
The staffing is great. The buds great. Except the last three times i have called and they told me they hadthe strain and amount i wanted available and i walk 1.5 miles to the shop for them to be sold out. Three times this has happend to me. Ugh.
The staff is motivated, and knowledgeable about their products and quality of most of their local growers. The price is what you'd expect for a recc shop but the bud smells like its worth it!
first time buying from rec shop bought a $50 eighth and was full of immature seeds.... very unsatisfied with bud quality
I have a few complaints to start with: the menu print size is too small, I can barely read it. The space inside is crowded and going through construction. And usually I like the people behind the counter but the girl that rang me up today was rude, obnoxious and pretended like she knew more than me. I prefer to have someone who actually listens to what I want and doesn't talk over me. Besides those things I really like this store. 10% VIP is why I come back. Good luck with construction.
I had the pleasure of having a great recreational experience at Rainier on Pine. I am a medical patient but I wanted to compare the differences. I always call ahead to any shop I visit to make sure they have the same menu items as displayed here on weedmaps. The young lady who answered was courteous and she confirmed they had what I was looking for. Rainier carries a nice variety of products at reasonable, comparable prices. I prefer quality and don't mind spending more for a better outcome. Although there isn't much room indoors, the two girls working assured me they're renovating the store and it will be worth the wait. Marlee and Michelle worked as a team to assist me. Since I came on a Sunday, it was nice to be able to take my time. I didn't feel rushed and the two both answered all of my questions. I felt that Marlee was very honest and enjoyed the same types of things I do. Michelle was very knowledgeable and passionate about all of the products. She knew a lot about SB5052 and says she spends a lot of free time absorbing any information about cannabis she can read. I really like that both took the time to talk about dabbing with me. Offering advice and tips that I found useful. I anticipate the grand re-opening.
I came here on 4/20 to see what deals they had! I intended on writing this review after I tried the weed, two days later here I am, still baked as a cake! I got the Sour Kush, now that's some fire!!! 30%thc. Worth the $18/gram. Also the Big Blue was really smooth! 27%thc for $15/gram. Not only was the bud good but the employees were so passionate and enthusiastic. The girl who helped me might've been a bigger pothead than myself. She had a weed skirt and halo. Even though I picked up their $7 gram and $20 eighth, she convinced me to pick up their other deals on edibles AND a new bong for $15. She wasn't just trying to make a sale, she sincerely wanted me to leave happy. She answered my questions and made me feel important despite the business (line out the door,) I love this place!!!!!
