living in thornton we have no dispensaries at all, so i was looking for a place for meds that is close to my home. this was one of three in a comparable distance. I would definitely recommend Green Trees Medicinals over here any day. or even the green solution which is on malley drive by 118th and washington. the buds here at Docs were not cured properly and just had very little medicinal benefit for me, not to mention the prices being almost 20$ more per 8th than terrapin care station's. all in all, my take away is, drive an extra 20 minutes to save 20$ or more with a much better selection and quality, and not to mention a medical dispensary that is focused on the patient not only the recreational consumer, like Docs seems to be doing since it went rec
Enjoy this dispensary, weed is great, but enders are great and real close to my house
I have chronic pain and the bud tender pointed me in the right direction. Great service!
Real Review - about 2.5/5 overall
Rec users will probably be fine here - they take credit cards (which is nice) and obviously care more about their rec side now (as most split shops do nowadays, it's where the real money is).
However, I can only recommend to other medical patients that they stay away from here and try the much better shops across I-25 around 104th or 84th (worth the drive trust me, you'll get more for your dollar even after the gas).
My Story - 0/5 overall
Now, this spot has never been the best. But it used to be pretty good (before they went rec), and it is the closest to me, so I go occasionally.
But when I go in and drop $35 on 1/8 (where other medical places often do $25 for 1/8, non-member), I expect to have an eighth!
Getting home to find out 1 out of my 2 jars is LITERALLY EMPTY was the most disappointing experience I have had with a dispensary. To top it all off, no one has answered or called me back in the 40 minutes and 3 phone calls 1 message I have made/left for them, during business hours. And then those business hours just ended. You would think that if anyone noticed the error, they would be waiting for a phone call or trying to look up and call me (with the number I believe they asked for and I gave on their "new patient sheet" in case of these exact or similar situations).
Seriously though, when have you ever gone to a pharmacy and come home to find one of your pill bottles empty? HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL BUDTENDING to leave a jar empty and give it to the consumer. Forget attention to detail, that is just straight up negligence to the most basic of your responsibilities as a seller. And then to not even notice???
The saddest part is that the missing strain is the sativa I was wishing to consume as soon as I got home as well. The other is a heavy indica for tonight...
I'll remove this review if the dispensary ever gets in touch with me and handles this correctly. Most importantly, if they ever give me what I purchased and was not actually given (and hopefully a bit extra for the epic disappointment and medium amount of hassle). The fact that this was a medical purchase should make it a literal crime for this to happen imo. I don't have seizures or the like, but if I did I could be in a really bad situation right now because of them...
Sorry to be so rude guys, sometimes you have some decent buds for a decent price.
Unfortunately though, this is not the first time you have seriously disappointed me in one way or another.
Probably will never be back again if this is not favorably resolved by the end of tomorrow (6/21/16).
The place itself is a bit sketchy, the employees weren't the most welcoming, and their stock was a little lacking. On weed maps the pricing for just about every strain is $35 which is not the case in store. $47 for an 1/8 of a decent strain is a bit much. All in all, I'd rather make the trip down to Denver for my next re-up.
If you've never met a girl named Kathy that you have liked....then you've never been to doc's!!! Kathy is the best with the best personality and hair!!! I don't know what's more fire the Kathy or the hash?! Best prices in Denver!!!
And it was mostly because of an employee, Kathy!!! She is very personable, super knowledgeable, and just fantastic to be in the same room as! Budder is super tasty and the best price in town!
