I agree with the prices being to high for the quality of product, the concentrates can be very over priced. Also, the staff could be more educated about the products they are handling. However they are usually very friendly which goes along way with me. I wish the parking lot was a little easier to navigate but that isn't their fault. Not a bad place. Lots to choose from
If you like a pretty face with a pair of tits this place is great. If you like anything about weed or dispensaries this is not the place. The staff is uneducated in the product they sell, the weed is okay at its higher prices but over priced in every other branch. It sucks because i remember when it opened as the first medical place in tacoma and it was professional, it had good prices and great people. But not today its become the exact opposite.
Gonna be a little long winded but I usually only review this bad with an explanation as to why it reached said rating with me.
Tried to give this place a chance, didn't care for the first few visits, the setup without menus or anything while you wait in line isn't very helpful to me, but location served well for me and I continued to put up with less than friendly customer service, especially when the gentleman in a suit isn't around. He must be manager or owner or some thing because the employees seem much nicer and more attentive when he is around.
Prices for some items are pretty good, others kind of high compared to other local shops, but all the cannabis stores seem to have this irregularity, so nothing too abnormal there.
Parking is a pain, but location on pacific Ave is convenient.
Here's this situation that pushed me away for good, and after sharing my story with some friends and family they were like "oh yeah that place has rude a** ladies that work there" and other nice things to say such as that...
Anyway I went into the store recently and while in line my mother called me, I usually wouldn't talk on the phone while wanting to be helped at a business, just out of courtesy mostly, but this day I couldn't hang up on her cause she had put me on hold so I could talk with the nurse that is helping with her surgery recovery, and I had been playing phone tag with for most that day. Anyway. When the next window opened I walked up to the window, was going to order a pre roll, and even knew which one and had my ID and money out, when the lady working rudely directed me to back away from her window and I could come up when I was done talking on the phone, I told her I was on hold, and she continued to refuse, so I told her and security which had interjected by this point asking what was up, while she shouted to him that I walked up to her talking on the phone, like it's some capital offense, like we don't live in a world where everyone has these devices, like we don't give our cell number for your loyalty program, like we were in a hospital or court room, it's a weed shop, where I knew what I wanted, unlike the 3 people before me who y'all gladly chatted with like people were not in line after. This gal is always kind of rude though, I had gotten used to the less than warm reception from her and another lady, but this was over the top rude.
I get it, talking on the phone while doing business can be taken as rude, but in today's world and given the circumstances, that policy seems a little picky to me, and I'll just be picky with my money and go to one of the other shops in town that provide a friendlier environment and employees.
Haven't been by since this happened a couple months back, my sister either, who was a regular also.
This couple has no idea how to run a business and treat their employees like babies in a daycare while micro managing from afar like the wizards behind a curtain. My experience working there was just as bizarre, I was wrongly accused of stealing a large amount of money with no concrete evidence and no real apology or explanation further on the matter. To top it all off I was presented with a no compete contract that was oozing with gross negligence. If I had been desperate for a job, I might have been coerced to stay despite being shown lousy business practices on the daily. Not to mention they are attempting to make me wait a whole month for my paycheck after I walked out. I'm going to be in contact with the US department of labor tomorrow, but for now I'm going to rage until they inevitably go out of business. ***BUDTENDERS AND FUTURE POTENTIAL EMPLOYEES BEWARE!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY***
This store is owned by complete a POS and his abusive and rude wife. They abuse their employees by keeping them scared to lose their jobs. Worst employer I've ever worked for
Reliable product availability.Fair pricing and friendly knowledgeable employees.
I brought business to NRC for a few reasons.....
I had been searching around town for the best deals for an ounce and the twisty glass blunt made by 7pipe. I stopped inside NRC & was welcomed by the friendly staff who were surprisingly knowledgeable when in comes to the actual strain effects and other merchandise including the twisty glass blunt. I was given a professional quality review on everything i requested about.
The ounce they gave me was only 65 bucks and it was really strong compared to the more expensive ounce i bought somewhere else.
i bought the twisty glass blunt because they had the best price compared to all the other stores in Tacoma too!!!
NRC will definitely stay my main location until someone else can step their game up!
Awesome staff, awesome herb, and awesome vibe! Have not been anywhere this friendly in quite some time, will be back soon!
NRC is the beat store in Tacoma. We have been coming here for a couple of years. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
