About Us

About Knox Medical: Knox Medical is dedicated to compassionately provide patients access to the highest-quality medicinal cannabis in a professional healthcare environment that puts the welfare of patients first. Knox Medical received the highest score in Florida of all nurseries that applied in 2015 for permission from the Florida Department of Health to cultivate, process, and dispense low-THC and medical cannabis to eligible patients.

History: Knox is a Florida based organization that scored higher than any other applicant to become 1 of 5 Dispensing Organizations, authorized to cultivate, process and dispense CBD and medicinal cannabis products. While our corporate office is based in Miami, our nursery is centrally located in Winter Garden, Florida. Under the leadership of our Chief Cultivation Officer, Bruce Knox, Knox Nursery is the home of our cultivation and processing center. Knox has invested in the latest technology to support our production of medicinal cannabis products. Our proprietary extraction equipment was designed by retired NASA engineers and our greenhouse cultivation area is supported by radiofrequency identification technology. This al- lows us to collect data scans from an individual unit to the entire production environment. Knox has established rigorous purity standards by investing in state- of-the-art technology capable of providing the most advanced analytical testing in the areas of potency, pesticides, residual solvents, heavy metals, microbiologicals, terpenes, aflatoxins, and ochratoxins. Knox has successfully developed a leadership team of horticulture, healthcare, pharmacy, retail, legal, compliance, government affairs, investor relations, and public affairs experts to develop and manage our daily operations. At Knox, our quality, standards, practices, performance, and team of associates are unmatched. Menu: Whether you need CBD, Indica, Sativa, or Hybrid medicinal cannabis products, we have several options to address qualified health condition(s). Our current line of products is available in 300 mg. or 600 mg. vaporizer cartridges or drops. By the end of 2017, our product lines will include capsules and suppositories. Due to the differences in metabolism, one can expect a vaporizer to have an immediate effect and last 1-2 hours, while other oral formulations may take 1-2 hours to notice an ef- fect, but last 4-6 hours. Service Locations: Knox Medical’s Orlando dispensary is headquartered in the North Orange neighborhood of Orlando, alongside the I-4 freeway and west of Lake Formosa. Patients typically live in the College Park, Park Lake/Highland, Rose Isle, Lake Dot, Baldwin Park, and Winter Park areas. Other individuals travel from Fairview Shores, Orlando proper, Wadeview Park, Conway and Azalea Park to explore Knox Medical’s dispensary. Patients can find relief from the Hiawassee, Lockhart, Pine Hills, Eatonville, and Maitland areas, and whether people reside in Southwest Orlando, Millenia or Oak Ridge. Location Information: Orlando is a city in the county seat of Orange County. Located in Central Florida, it is the center of the Orlando metropolitan area. The City of Orlando is nicknamed "The City Beautiful," and its symbol is the fountain at Lake Eola. Orlando is also known as "The Theme Park Capital of the World" and in 2014 its tourist attractions and events drew more than 62 million visitors. The Orlando International Airport (MCO) is the thirteenth busiest airport in the United States and the 29th-busiest in the world. As one of the world's most visited tourist destinations, Orlando's famous attractions form the backbone of its tourism industry.

When you have end stage cancer, the very last thing you need is to exhaust yourself getting out of the house and driving across town to find out that a business isn't open on a day they say they are. Not okay, Knox. Not ok. We'll be going elsewhere.

Not even a option for me

1 person thought this review was helpful

knox products and prices are not even close in comparison to trulieve. Trulieve blows Knox out the water, with more selection and way better prices. Truclear alone makes Knox not even a option. 850 mg for 60 bucks, thanks trulieve. 600 mg for 90 bucks, no way your getting my money Knox.

300mg cart vs. 600mg cart

2 people thought this review was helpful

Went here yesterday and was helped by friendly, professional, pleasant staff who were quick and efficient. Knox did have some significant product shortages (prep for New Years) but the one thing I didn't like was cartridge size being identical with 300mg and 600mg vape cartridges. Upon inspection the amount of oil inside the cart look identical. This point is driven home with price differences of $45 and $90 for each of those respectively. I realize one is circa 60 percent THC while the other only 30 percent THC, but I would think they would become empty equally fast. My 2cents.

RSim I agree with dsipes. I rec'd my third delivery today and noticed Knox changed the packaging again. My first order was impressively packaged with a capped vial within a glass tube. The cartridge had either a gold or silver tip and fit in the pen perfectly. The second order came with the cartridge loose in the glass tube and a plastic tip. The tip was too long and I couldn't cap the vape pen. My most recent order is a smaller vial although the box indicated 600 mg. Also there is a new tip and is too short for the pen. I don't care for this inconsistency in packaging, especially the smaller size for the 600 mg. I'm not comfortable that I'm getting for what I'm paying,

Dishonest

2 people thought this review was helpful

Recent delivery from Knox included vape cartridges that are at least 1/4" shorter than previously and do not properly fit their vape pens. Same diameter, shorter cartridge means less product even though the price is still 20% higher than other local competitors. I called to talk through the problem and they couldn't get off the phone fast enough. They have ducked my calls and failed to call back as promised. It's like they never expected a customer to complain and just don't know what to do. I will NEVER use Knox again and suggest Trulieve might be a much better supplier.

Question

Do I need to obtain a card from a doctor before I decide to visit the dispensary? I'd love to see what products are available for my chronic back pain. Someone please let me know, thx!

dsipes Currently, one must possess the card to enter dispensaries. Perhaps the future will change things.

Our first visit was impressive. I’m very satisfied with the products, atmosphere and staff.
A little more knowledge on ingestion and how medicine is absorbed would be good but Im sure that and other minor kinks will work out with time.
*sublingual drops absorb faster than eatables. Things in your gut absorb in 1-2 hours, under your tongue absorb in a few mins*
I’ve read a few things about the taste; other companies add flavors and/or sugar. There’s no complete research on inhaling that, this is as pure and medical grade as you can buy. I’ve used both and the results are better with Knox products.
Its medicine not dessert. Most patients have real chronic symptoms that are relieved with medical Cannabis the minor earthy after taste is nothing. The higher the THC ratio the stronger the “taste”
Its like chewing on a stem.
Overall, 5 stars.
Thanks for being one of the first to help patients in need.
