Came in here about a month ago. This was the first dispensary I had ever been to, and it was an interesting experience. Staff were very friendly, though I wish they had told me more about the difference between sativas and indicas, which I didn't understand well at the time. They seemed a bit harried too, though that's not really their fault.
In terms of atmosphere, this place is nothing like the fancy San Francisco dispensaries I've heard about; it's a hole-in-the-wall at the edge of town. Nothing wrong with that, except I had a bit of trouble finding the place because it's so inconspicuous. The medicine was good, and the free cookie was delicious (even without medicine in it it would have been an amazing cookie!)
Thank you for visiting our collective especially for your first time ever in a collective! We agree that our facility is small which is why we focus so much on quality. We are in the process of expanding the size of our lobby and offering more space to have medical conversations around your medicine. We hope you visit again in the future and check out our improvements. Thanks again for you feedback and we will let the cookie producer know of your compliment! Be well.

i hope to try it some day i love marijuana
Ive been here twice now usually when passing by Nor-cal.
I dont usually leave reviews, But this place is awesome!!
Amazing Flowers!! The Blue Dream is soooo good. Also tried Trident high CBD which is the nicest cbd strain Ive tried.. Sticky with great nose and taste.. And my favorite Indica Cheeba chews at a fair price.
So nice to hit this place after working in the bay area and hitting the lame dispensaries there.
Thanks,, keep it up! Wish I had bought more flower while I was there!! See you the next time I pass through town
Professional most impressive flowers in the area the concentrates are pricey but good they sell clones too

If your shop is compassionate, then you should consider selling the first ounce and first 4 grams of concentrate of a 'House' blend at an 'at cost' rate to patients who are seniors, veterans and/or on disability. Often these patients do not earn more than $900 a month, so spending $300+ per ounce is prohibitive. A 10% discount to veterans is still nearly $300 an ounce. The 'at cost' rate should include an amount for operation/testing/employee's wages, etc. costs so this compassionate price won't hurt the shops ability to operate. It wouldn't be hard to operate this kind of program. Just have patients bring their income statement from veteran's/social security/disability when they come. They would need to get a new statement when they re-up their medical marijuana card each year.
Thank you for your opinion and visiting our collective. We understand the financial burden some patients experience when obtaining their medicine. This is why we have operated a compassion program for over 10 years, separate from the day to day discounts our patients receive. Our program was designed in partnership with the Sociology department at our local State University which includes income verification and a medical condition severity form designed by a 3rd party to assist in making the process less subjective and based on patient needs. Our program has grown over 50% in the last year and patients in need are receiving free and below cost products. This system is supported by the purchases of those able patients, each patient's needs being just as important. Please ask for a compassion application from a budtender, our program is reviewed every quarter. We wish you the best and look to continue to provide you the highest quality medicine possible.
So far as the quality of the herb here, there is no shop in Humboldt that can beat them. However, their prices are a little high, and they don't offer enough bargains for poorer folks. Does anyone ever notice that these shops are getting rich even though they are supposed to be about "compassion"?
Besides all that, my main problem with this shop is their large proliferation of BHO extracts. BHO, as you all might know, is made using butane, which is toxic and almost always creates toxic product, despite the attempt to purge the butane from the final product which is invariably only partly successful. Besides that, aren't you a little angry about all the BHO explosions in Humboldt? It's giving marijuana a bad name, and a really conscious health concerned shop would not carry BHO is they were really concerned with the health of their patients and the safety of residents in the community!
Each of our patient’s points of view should be considered. Concentrates can be done safely. They can also be done incorrectly. The safety of our community and our patients is our main priority. Our patients have expressed a need to us to source safe concentrates for their medical needs. We lab test each production to ensure a level of safety has been met. Our model is based off of the regulated markets of Colorado and Washington. By providing lab tested concentrates we are preventing and deterring black market purchases of untested, unsafe produced concentrates. We support a regulated concentrate model that promotes extraction being done in a laboratory setting and not in residential settings. Smoking cannabis from a pipe with a lighter is also smoking butane, so we offer hempwick. We also will continue to offer solvent less extracted water hash and CO2 as alternatives to patients who are concerned about BHO.
As far as our prices, our cannabis flower prices have stayed the same while our lab testing of each harvest has increased substantially. We reinvest in our community through donations, community service, tax payments, and an expansion of our compassion program for catastrophic patients in our community. If your medicine is creating a financial burden due to your ailment please talk to our management about our compassion program. Thank you for voicing your concerns. We have always taken the concerns of our patients and community seriously and appreciate each of you.
It's funny that given the area, all the other dispensaries sell garbage. HPRC is consistently good with high quality nuggets, concentrates, edibles and clones. also their staff is super nice and very knowledgable and helpful!
Thank you so much for your review. We have been working very hard to provide you the highest quality and safest medicine possible. Check out the Green Ribbon just came out today over 25% THC! Be well and thank you for visiting HPRC.
the best part about you guys like ive said before is your insanley huge clone selection and quality. however i dont approve of no longer listing the names. i live in eureka and would really love to know the actual availability before i come ,like we used to. thanks for being there!
Thank you for your opinion we are trying to make sure we communicate well with our patients! Are you using a mobile version of weedmaps or a desktop? We actually do list the strain options under each price category on the weedmaps menu.If you hover your mouse above each option it should reveal the list of strains. However, if this is not working for you we also list the clones on our phone menu 707-826-7989. Feel free to hit the clone menu or the front desk option we will try our best to get you the up to date strain selections! Thank you for letting us know and we hope to match up some medical strains for your needs soon.
The Pineapple Nepal is to die for. The genetics are Pineapple(?would love to know the parents of this) x Purple Nepalese. At first I was hesitant because it didnt look to hearty in the jar but went ahead and got a 1/2 eight to try out something a little exotic. Upon getting it home, I couldnt have been any more wrong about this magic strain. Its taste is something like a Pez flavored Nepalese hash ball. The candied earth overtones are just beyond words. Its a magical experience that can not be missed. Thank you for another class A strain HPRC:)
