Humboldt Patient Resource Center, an award winning collective, has been in operation since 1999. HPRC grows a majority of cannabis buds on site and offers varieties of Lab Tested THC and CBD dominant strains. We offer a large selection of well-established clones at affordable prices. In addition we have a great selection of high-quality local edibles, salves, capsules, and tinctures. Come in and meet our knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Good menu. Knowledgable staff. Friendly environment.
I love that they have started carrying strain specific small buds. Its really a great value and you can still check it out before purchasing. I would never pay $50 for an eighth, but I'd pay $50 for a quarter. Crumbles are a mixed small bud buy, and great for mixing or filling, and for $40/quarter, that is a day-maker when you are low on resources but still want quality buds. The staff there are friendly, helpful, and when you're a regular they will remember you. I like that they are non-profit, that they grow in house, they care about quality, and are very professional. I like the clean atmosphere, the way the buds are set up for you, the openness, the knowledgable staff, and the quote of their buds. Even in the small buds, it's pretty damn good most of the time. I have started coming here more because I feel like the staff and organization in general is about patient care, plant care, and top quality. They are always asking about how they can improve, they are consistently friendly and positive, and I just feel good about myself and where I'm spending my money when I go there. Not many places overall are like this.
Thank you so much for your compliments! It truly makes our day to know our efforts are appreciated by our patients. We know that each dollar spent by our patients is important and we are continuing to bring in high quality, lab tested medicine, at affordable prices. The small buds have been a great addition to the menu and we will continue to provide them for you! Don't forget to ask about your rewards points which can be redeemed for free medicine! Thank you again for visiting our collective and we look forward to greeting you with a smile on your next visit!
Favorite Dispensary In Humboldt
Honestly, I just love this place. Since the first time I came in and saw their selection of flowers and concentrates I couldn't stop coming back. The only thing is I can't afford 40-50 dollar eighths so I don't go as much as I need to and 50 a gram for shatter reminds me of Sacramento Club prices where they're not in it for compassion. Other than that this place has really friendly and helpful staff, their medicine is awesome and does the job! I researched them because they always have such interesting stuff and it's cool to know they were the first club in California!
Thank you so much for visiting our collective and giving us your feedback. Hopefully you have been by recently and seen our weekly deals that range from $10 Duff Sacks to Premium Small Bud 8ths for $25. We totally understand the frustrations high medicine prices can bring. Our grams of concentrate range from $30-$50. Our medicine prices are not just for the medicinal product but also for the five different types of lab testing we pay for on EACH batch of concentrate (Potency, Mold, Mildew, Pesticide, and Residual Solvents). Don't forget you can redeem your patient rewards points for free medicine! Every patient is enrolled in this program and helps reduce the price of your medicine. Thanks again for being a patient at our collective! Be Well
First time here about a month ago
Came in here about a month ago. This was the first dispensary I had ever been to, and it was an interesting experience. Staff were very friendly, though I wish they had told me more about the difference between sativas and indicas, which I didn't understand well at the time. They seemed a bit harried too, though that's not really their fault.
In terms of atmosphere, this place is nothing like the fancy San Francisco dispensaries I've heard about; it's a hole-in-the-wall at the edge of town. Nothing wrong with that, except I had a bit of trouble finding the place because it's so inconspicuous. The medicine was good, and the free cookie was delicious (even without medicine in it it would have been an amazing cookie!)
Thank you for visiting our collective especially for your first time ever in a collective! We agree that our facility is small which is why we focus so much on quality. We are in the process of expanding the size of our lobby and offering more space to have medical conversations around your medicine. We hope you visit again in the future and check out our improvements. Thanks again for you feedback and we will let the cookie producer know of your compliment! Be well.

I dont usually leave reviews, But this place is awesome!!
Amazing Flowers!! The Blue Dream is soooo good. Also tried Trident high CBD which is the nicest cbd strain Ive tried.. Sticky with great nose and taste.. And my favorite Indica Cheeba chews at a fair price.
So nice to hit this place after working in the bay area and hitting the lame dispensaries there.

If your shop is compassionate, then you should consider selling the first ounce and first 4 grams of concentrate of a 'House' blend at an 'at cost' rate to patients who are seniors, veterans and/or on disability. Often these patients do not earn more than $900 a month, so spending $300+ per ounce is prohibitive. A 10% discount to veterans is still nearly $300 an ounce. The 'at cost' rate should include an amount for operation/testing/employee's wages, etc. costs so this compassionate price won't hurt the shops ability to operate. It wouldn't be hard to operate this kind of program. Just have patients bring their income statement from veteran's/social security/disability when they come. They would need to get a new statement when they re-up their medical marijuana card each year.
Thank you for your opinion and visiting our collective. We understand the financial burden some patients experience when obtaining their medicine. This is why we have operated a compassion program for over 10 years, separate from the day to day discounts our patients receive. Our program was designed in partnership with the Sociology department at our local State University which includes income verification and a medical condition severity form designed by a 3rd party to assist in making the process less subjective and based on patient needs. Our program has grown over 50% in the last year and patients in need are receiving free and below cost products. This system is supported by the purchases of those able patients, each patient's needs being just as important. Please ask for a compassion application from a budtender, our program is reviewed every quarter. We wish you the best and look to continue to provide you the highest quality medicine possible.
A great shop! Wish they didn't sell BHO!
So far as the quality of the herb here, there is no shop in Humboldt that can beat them. However, their prices are a little high, and they don't offer enough bargains for poorer folks. Does anyone ever notice that these shops are getting rich even though they are supposed to be about "compassion"?
Besides all that, my main problem with this shop is their large proliferation of BHO extracts. BHO, as you all might know, is made using butane, which is toxic and almost always creates toxic product, despite the attempt to purge the butane from the final product which is invariably only partly successful. Besides that, aren't you a little angry about all the BHO explosions in Humboldt? It's giving marijuana a bad name, and a really conscious health concerned shop would not carry BHO is they were really concerned with the health of their patients and the safety of residents in the community!
Each of our patient’s points of view should be considered. Concentrates can be done safely. They can also be done incorrectly. The safety of our community and our patients is our main priority. Our patients have expressed a need to us to source safe concentrates for their medical needs. We lab test each production to ensure a level of safety has been met. Our model is based off of the regulated markets of Colorado and Washington. By providing lab tested concentrates we are preventing and deterring black market purchases of untested, unsafe produced concentrates. We support a regulated concentrate model that promotes extraction being done in a laboratory setting and not in residential settings. Smoking cannabis from a pipe with a lighter is also smoking butane, so we offer hempwick. We also will continue to offer solvent less extracted water hash and CO2 as alternatives to patients who are concerned about BHO.
As far as our prices, our cannabis flower prices have stayed the same while our lab testing of each harvest has increased substantially. We reinvest in our community through donations, community service, tax payments, and an expansion of our compassion program for catastrophic patients in our community. If your medicine is creating a financial burden due to your ailment please talk to our management about our compassion program. Thank you for voicing your concerns. We have always taken the concerns of our patients and community seriously and appreciate each of you.
