Thank you HPRC. Specifically Nicki. My experience here was great. I am 46 and new to cannabis. I have Complex PTSD of 40 years and Asthma. I drove 6 hours to specifically come to this store to purchase Ringo's Gift oil and seeds. I was catered to immediately and Nicki was very patient and knowledgeable. I went in feeling anxious and guilty and left feeling positive. I have tried prescription drugs without relief. I am hoping this will work.
Thank you so much for driving so far and trusting our team! It has taken years of dedication and research to create an experience that helps increase your understanding of cannabis, and empower you with information. Nikki is one of our many great staff members that is here to help, and from all of our staff we wish you the best and look forward to seeing you at future visits!
Such a cool place. The staff here are so friendly. They are very knowledgable and work hard to help you find exactly what you need. HPRC also has an excellent catalog of seeds... so many choices! The location is great, and the area is absolutely picturesque. Worth the drive. Come get some seeds, then grow your own meds. Nature will help you. Peace.
Thank you so much for making the trip to see us! We have working diligently with our seed vendors to keep our supply stocked and with the varieties our patients are looking for. Let us know how the varities work for you this year. We looking forward to seeing you again and wish you the best with your garden this summer! Thank you for being part of this awesome collective experience! -HPRC Staff

I always enjoy heading to HPRC when I am able to because the variety of medicine and the quality is always on point. Today was no different and I seriously cannot stress enough that the small buds is where it is at; Perfect compassionate price for a patient on a budget. A month ago I was sold an expired edible and was bummed because I didn't expect that from this dispensary but when I got a returned call any negative feelings I had instantly went away because of how kind they were by replacing the edible free of charge and by how nice they were on the phone. This dispensary never disappoints even when something like that happens, things happen and they own up to it. Huge Respect. This will always remain my #1 place for medicine and a big thank you for everything Humboldt Patient Resource Center!
Thanks again for your feedback, it is always appreciated! Were happy our products are matching up for you and at the right price. Our entire team works diligently to keep our prices affordable for the sake of all patients. In regards to your Kiva edible we had clarification from the vendor that the best buy date is in regards to the taste of the chocolate not the safety of the medicine, but quality is our goal and you deserve to experience their product at its peak! So thanks again and please always follow up with us if there is any concern about the medicine. Your review really makes our day and we look forward to helping you out again!
looking at the menu...looks like alot of Socal influence. you guys used to have REAL strains like Headband, Redwood, Purple Kush, ect. I'm from Socal, looking for those strains I hope people in humboldt still have. if all I hear is true... then I would have to assume the answer is no. no mothering of plants, Socal has more money to spend, genome project, ect. I hope the Colorado, Washington influence doesn't make you guys in Norcal forget your Real Potential and quality in medicine or "smoke"
Thank you for stopping by our menu. We currently have 23 strains in mother production including 3 CBD dominant strains AC/DC, The Trident, and the Remedy. Check out our website www.hprcArcata.com for a list of our mothers. We also carry Oh Sour Head, Bubba Kush, and Mendo Purple, all great strains that have been in house for over 8 years and are similar cultivars to your requested strains. Although new regulations may have changed up the available space in our garden, we will continue to provide high quality local genetics from our garden and clean medical products from our great local vendors. We hope to see you soon! -HPRC
I'm tired of coming in and seeing same stuff in the concentrate shelves and not only the same meds, they're the quality meds you would not want to ingest. $30 grams of concentrate is not going to be good but that's literally all you guys have. It's all really high in residuals and honesty you guys have started to loose me as a patient. It's kinda ridiculous how this is humboldt county and I can't even quality meds(concentrates) half the time at the dispensary. Time to start looking for a new place to go.
Thanks for your feedback it is important to us! From reading your review it seems that your largest concern is the perception of value and price. We work diligently to keep prices low on concentrates. In previous years waxes were $40/gram and Shatter were $50/gram. We worked with our vendors to keep the prices low for patients which has resulted in our selection of lab tested safety screened concentrates at $30/gram and $40/gram (this price includes taxes as well). This drop in price is not a drop in value, but rather the benefits of our efforts of our collective and vendors passed on to patients with lower prices. The reason that medicine fluctuates on the shelf is because of our need to batch test extractions and screen each concentrate run for safety. At HPRC we even allow our patients to see the Residual Solvent Test. We never say "its tested" and then refuse to share the exact results with our patients. This is what you may experience at other collectives across the State that claim they carry "lab tested" but then can not provide any testing results to patients. If higher market value items are what you desire, this upcoming week we will be carrying Bud Rosin at $30/ half gram and $60/gram. These cost intense concentrations will still be tested for pesticide and potency because safe medicine is more important than good looking medicine. We hope we have a product matched up for your needs and thank you again for you opinions and feedback! Be well.

It had been awhile since I had been to HPRC but right when I talked to the budtender she remembered me and even noticed my absence. That right there made me feel good because tons of patients come in and out each day and for her to remember me was really nice. Showed the collective cares about the patients with something as simple as remembering a face. I always love the amazing quality and variety at this dispensary but what is the best for me is the knowledge of the staff. Anytime I have a question they know the answer and today was no different; Couldn't keep my eye off the concentrate rack like always and I saw tons of variety for an awesome price, use to be all $50 a gram or $25 a half gram but now I see grams as low as $30 that look delicious. It is nice to see medicine for every patient's budget! Asked the budtender which extract had the absolute best terpenes and she pointed to the OG Kush Shatter. I must say WOW. She was spot on because I could not believe the Sweet Lemony Kush flavor I got on the exhale and boy was that exactly what my aches and pains needed. Not only was everything just perfect but the free flower was extremely appreciated, you don't get that in many dispensaries! Cheers Humboldt Patient Resource Center; You still remain my #1 dispensary!
